Kept me engaged throughout, world building was good. Couple of loose ends I would have liked tied up at the end, but sometimes it’s nice to leave a little mystery for potential books in parallel to this. Overall fantastic read

This story had me enthralled from the first book. At times I laughed out loud and other points my eyes were damp. I thoroughly recommend this series.

Difficult to get into, but then couldn’t put it down

Man what a series that was and I must say I had no idea the last book would have been as dark as it was. It was exceptionally miserable for most of it, which made it a bit hard to get through for me.

Normally I don't mind things being grim and dark but the series started off so lighthearted that I was a bit shocked by the ending of Book 4.

As far as endings to a series go The Final Redemption was great and I'm looking forwards to Embers of Illeniel and Champions series, knowing full well just how Grimdark Embers will be.

Overall Mageborn was a fantastic journey and one of the few series I've started and actually finished on audible.

This is the last in the series. I loved the series. Didn’t think I would love it but took a punt and it paid off. Give this series a go and leap into a new world.

amateur story telling trying too hard for realisim but failed miserably people don't behave that way in reality and in trying for reality he has failed miserably making the story long and tedious and totally unbelievable and when your talking about a magic that's hard
