Good potential, weak storyline
In the bubblegum style of Dan Brown occult mysteries the premise of this story is promising.
The reality is a very basic story, with little depth or with characters you care about.
Last three chapters were the worst, with this story trying to make some philosophical comment about human kinds moral obligation on the creation of the atom bomb.
If Einstein read or heard this he would be turning in his grave!

Enjoyable
Part Indiana Jones; part The Mummy; part Dan Jones; part Fallen, but no less enjoyable for the mash-up. Recommended thriller.

Great performance but a very boring story
Robert Masello has a habit of writing books about events/situations that have taken place in the past and are generally known to most people. As a result the book feels like a summary of a history lesson rather than a novel with an intriguing and a new story. This is a second book I have read by him and it will be the last. Really boring.
