London, 1940. The war is raging across Europe, and 23-year-old Grace is devastated by the loss of her husband, Brian, at Dunkirk after only a year of marriage. I was hooked from the moment it started and well done to the Annie Aldington for reading this story, I love her voice.. It brings all the characters to life.
I recommend this beautiful book to everyone at any age.

Annie Aldingtons narrations bring any novels to life with her gentle voice and ability to use emotion when needed, pair it with a superb author and you have a guaranteed "can't put it down" story. Once again, Beryl Matthews blows us away with her wonderful writings! Highly recommended!
