Really poor - just a ‘filler’ book

I have previously enjoyed Alan Weiss’ books, but I was shocked at how poor this was. Weiss has written this during the Covid pandemic, and it shows, as it is just a ‘filler’ book where I struggled to find even some useful nuggets, as the emphasis throughout was on how he made it, rather than providing useful strategic consulting tips. Give this one a miss, and try something else or one of Weiss’ earlier works.

Informative about structuring deals

There is some substance once you get past the lifestyle and incorporation sections. It's informative about structuring deals, but cursory everywhere else. I liked the bits about (a) making payment, not a signature the binding act, (b) not billing in phases. Looking forward to checking out the online materials.

Awesome Book

This is a must read book. my wife and I did the million dollar consulting collage with Alan back in 2011 in Rhode Island AND HE CHANGED MY LIFE.

This book is a great update.

He is an awesome consultant and an even better teacher.

Read ALL his work.
