Another great story from Carole Matthews
After finishing the first book I was keen to listen to the next instalment, I wasn't disappointed in the tale, though I felt that Nadia's story could have been explored more thoroughly. There wasn't as many laugh out loud moments as the first book but I enjoyed the twists and turns of Lucy's journey with Marcus and Crush.
Disappointingly, the narrator seemed to change the character's voices, especially Chantal who loses her american accent.

Bit predictable
Was funny in places and definitely talked bout chocolate alot. But found the story bit predictable and could almost see the ending coming. But wasnt all bad if you like that kind of thing

As delicious as the first one
These books make me smile so much. Just about to get the third one. If you fancy a light hearted and fun listen, then these books are for you. The narrator is excellent too.

.....wish I was part of The Chocolate Lovers Club
This is the 2nd Book.
Enjoyed this a lot. Fortunately read the first one so familiar with the characters again as mentioned in a review if Carol lived the diverse characters, black, Asian and some with real issues ie drug addiction, gambler and affairs . Gave you emotional empathy both sides. The support of friends so important, the live and closeness..wow and how addictive chocolate is!!
