Came good in the end
Well, to be honest, this story irritated me a bit! First of all, I could not believe, that despite Ed, being a clearly intelligent man, and a loving father, being so keen to find out about Ryan, that he would be so stupid to jeopardise his job and lie to Claire, He was so dumb as to not know about his browser history at work! I kept wanting to shout, for goodness sake, think about what you are doing you, daft man! But no, the inevitable happened! Of course, Ryan was a badun! I felt that there could have been a lot more made of his character and the innuendoes between him and Ed. But it was all a bit one-sided. Ed's stalking of Ryan, surely he must have thought about Ryan stalking him? But no! I struggled on with listening to the book, but wanted to hear the last chapters avoiding the interim ones! The last chapters were rather more exciting but rather predictable! I have read (not listened) to T M Logan's books. This was a bit disappointing.

Harrowing story horrific subject
Well narrated but horrible content. Writing seems a bit strung out, maybe partly because it’s a horrific subject. I didn’t enjoy it but couldn’t stop listening

Great read
had to listen to the beginning a few times to get into it, but was a realistic storyline what a father will go through to protect his daughter. Will read more of his books

Slightly weak end to a very good story
I needed to be impressed by this one - as I wasn't too sure about the storyline, but I was quickly drawn in. Indeed I actually found myself commenting out loud on occasions, urging one or other of the characters to 'think again' or not go down a certain route. Cleverly written so that you weren't quite sure what you should be believing and very well read by Philip Stevens. I did feel that it slipped away rather towards the end but in fairness it must have been a hard one to write. Well worth a listen.

Captivating story
I enjoyed all the characters and the suspense . Poor Ed is alone with his suspicions , but has good reason. A riveting read. Hi
