Summary

Four short murder mysteries, three featuring Detective Sergeant Christina Kenton, set in the Cambridgeshire countryside...

In "Kill Me Tomorrow", a serial murderer is killing according to the position of the numbers on a clock face. The police think they can mark on the map the place where the fifth murder will occur: In Christina Kenton's own village of Foxfield. In "No Picnic for Teddy Bears", the vicar of All Saints Church is holding his annual Teddy Bear Parachute Drop from the top of the church tower - but Christina is more interested in the activity inside the church, and stumbles upon a horrifying crime when she opens an ancient treasure chest. In "A Dark Issue", Christina and her superior Commander Loxley both receive an invitation to murder. The place: All Hallows church. The time: Hallowe'en night... And in "Sweet Alison", the year is 2022 and Tom, a 65 year-old veteran of the Iraq war, receives a visit from the police....
