Entertaining and griping

The story continues in Jason Bourne/David Webb battle for clarity. The two characters are different and similar in the same sentences. Good story and a good range of characters to follow through. Twists until the very end make for an exciting read after the first few chapters of character introduction. Enjoyed this to straight away purchase the next one in series.

didn't enjoy as much as the first book

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

at times scott brick over-acted but I still enjoy his narration. the story itself didn't help as it didn't seem to be written as well as the 1st in the series. A lot of the story became tedious. If I hear 'C is for Carlos' once more I might scream (sorry)

Okay

It's better than the first book, the films are better. It's not like the second film.

Amazing book!!!

If you haven't read the trilogy you are missing out!! I've read the books 3 times now and I'm still on the edge of my seat whilst reading them, fantastic writing by Ludlum!

The Second of the story so far.

I was ok untill the last 3 chapters a bit repetitive of the story.
Ok but will listen to the next book, and hope to not be to dissatisfied with the whole of the story.

Brilliant Follow Up

I really enjoyed this follow up from the first one seeing how far Webb/Bourne has come and how he has to handle being both because of the main plot point. I read this first time once 14 years ago and got this a few years after just got round to reviewing it. Mr Brick does a great job narrating getting French names etc pronounced properly and accents were well done…now onto the finale of this long story plot. Shame book 4 isn’t available on Audible.

Enjoyed it

Book 2:- narrator cuts the mustard as usual.
Plot:- Bourne gets into many death defying situations, but they were not overcooked. The motivation behind his current situation is once again borne out of manipulation, but with his split personality he thrives on death and destruction as Jason but on humanness as Webb...must be dreadful to be so conflicted.
Rather more swearing in this one, but most of it did reflect the emotion of the moment.

Tedious

No doubt there is a story there, but I feel like I suffered my way through it. Perhaps I was thrown by the dual personalities of Jason Bourne, but I’m putting it down to an extremely far fetched plot. There were multiple occasions when I had no idea what was going on, so I would listen again to see what I missed to discover that it’s just a ridiculous story that’s been dragged out for too long.
