Nina is a librarian who spends her days happily matchmaking books and people - she always knows what someone should read next. But when her beloved library closes and she's suddenly out of a job, Nina has no idea what to do next. Then an advert catches her eye: she could be the owner of a tiny little bookshop bus, driving around the Scottish highlands.

Using up all her courage, and her savings, Nina makes a new start in the beautiful Scottish highlands. But real life is a bit trickier than the stories she loves - especially when she keeps having to be rescued by the grumpy-but-gorgeous farmer next door...

A Lovely Listen.

Great to hear of Nina the bookworm. I wonder if there will be a sequel in which she embraces listening to audiobooks.

Didn’t like any of the characters.

Narrator was super as always but I didn’t like any characters, left it playing away and didn’t pause it which tells me it was dull.

Superb

I haven't listened to an audiobook for a while and what a book to listen to to get back into it!
All the characters were fabulously written by Jenny Colgan and expertly brought to life by Lucy Price-Lewis.
While the story played out in a predictable manner - not a shred of disrespect intended toward the author - it was told in a graceful and heartwarming style.
The perfect type of story to listen to for hours on end as I crochet while snuggling on the sofa.

Thank you.

Great story

Thoroughly enjoyed the story, well written, good strong characters, but found the narration somewhat irritating

Utterly brilliant

I absolutely love this story. It was a really heartwarming tale of someone who found herself, with some important lessons thrown in. I have listened to it many times. The narrator was perfect for this story.

A fun read

I haven't read many of Jenny Colgan's novel but I shall seek out her latest. A good read, a pleasant romance element and a satisfying inclusion of books. A fine book to snuggle up with thus winter.
