Summary

Ridge, Sardelle, and their comrades may have rescued Tolemek's sister and freed the dragon, but trouble awaits at home.

The king is missing, a secret organization is hunting sorcerers, and the capital is more vulnerable than ever to enemy attack. Worst of all, at least from Ridge's point of view, someone put that jackass Colonel Therrik in charge of the flier battalion.

Ridge and his allies have a lot of problems to fix, but they can't show their faces in the capital without being arrested or shot. This time it's going to take a lot more than magic to save the country.

another fantastic story from Lindsay Buroker

loved this continuing storyline but I am afraid that they are spoiled somewhat by the terrible narrator

Great addition

enjoyed this segment of the series.
this narrator was awful 😖 😱 😨 I'm sorry but it was just robotic and plain terrible. but if you can get past the awful narration then u enjoy the book it self.

Superb continuation of the saga

My favourite episode so far. Loads of action and brilliant new additions to the adventure. Can't wait to hear what happens next to them all. Brilliant😁

Story good but narration grates

This is an engaging series and I’ve kept with it in the hope that the robotic narration would improve, but I’m afraid I’m giving up. I think these books have a seam of humour in them but the narrator just kills it.

another wonderful Dragons Blood story! yes at the start the narration seems a bit flat but as the story unfolds and different character voices are all spoken you will realise how great this is read.

love it

not what I usually read but it's got a taste of everything that makes a fantasy story , listened to the first five books back to back, makes me wish I'd picked up the paperbacks when I saw them in my local bookshop

looking forward to the rest of the books

loved this book building on the characters in the previous books, though you can easily miss the appearance of the dragon the swords were great.

Great series. can't wait to see how it ends.

it is fun to see how the characters develop. I certainly didn't expect one of the deaths in this book. I love Duck and his way of describing 'life'!
