Up there with her others!

Roisin Meaney writes ‘easy reading’ at the highest standard. Her characters and their relationships leap off the page. The story lines are straightforward, but the high quality of writing means they remain compelling. This novel is no exception. Enjoy!

Hard To Get Into

I love Roisin Meaney books, I have listened to quite a lot of them on Audible - some of them more than once as I enjoy them so much and they are great, however, this is the first one that I am really struggling to get into. I'm not sure if (sorry to say this) if it is the narration, which I find grating to listen to. The narrator starts a lot of sentences on a highish loud note, and then her voice sort of drops and tails off. It is very irritating. I will persevere but so far it is very disappointing. Sorry!
