Summary
Atrial fibrillation strikes one in four American adults. Not only do people suffering from this condition suffer from shortness of breath, fatigue, chest discomfort, decreased ability to exercise and do activities of daily living, arrhythmia, and palpitations, but their risk of a stroke, cognitive decline and dementia, heart failure, or premature death also shoots way up.
Today, a whole new body of research - one most physicians are unaware of - shows that biomarker and lifestyle optimization may put half the cases of atrial fibrillation into remission without drugs or procedures. And for those in whom these remedies are insufficient or not tolerated, new procedures, in combination with biomarker and lifestyle optimization, may offer lifetime remission from atrial fibrillation and its devastating consequences.
In clear, accessible, patient-centric language, Drs. Day and Bunch share their revolutionary approach to treating atrial fibrillation, developed through a combined 53 years working with a-fib patients. The effectiveness of their plan has been proven through countless medical studies. And now, in The A-Fib Cure: Get Off Your Medications, Take Control of Your Health, and Add Years to Your Life, they share that plan with you.

Anyone with AF should really read this book, so we
I was recommended the book by someone from the AF Forum HealthUnlocked , I am so grateful and it truly is a life changer. It is like going to see a private Cardiologist and asking all the questions you have ever wanted to and many more and getting the answers in a way you actually understand. I listened to the book and ended up walking twice as much as usual as it is so very interesting and informative.

Empowering must read for AF patients and GPs
The Afib Cure is a highly informative and helpful book that empowers patients to partner with their physicians in taking control of their health and reducing their AF episodes or putting and keeping them in remission.. Highly recommend to newly diagnosed and long term sufferers alike, and for those with a family history of atrial fibrillation who want to reduce their chances of developing the disorder.by making and monitoring lifestyle changes rather than taking medication.

Informative
I was miss diagnosed for ten years with my afib. Finally got it figured out and met with dr day to do my surgery. The book is extremely informative and a must read in my opinion for anyone with afib or similar heart issues. It explained so many things that I had felt but didn’t know what was going on. Highly recommend. I wish I would’ve had it 10 years ago.

THE resource for learning about A-Fib.
If you have anyone in your family that has heart issues, if you worry about this yourself and find yourself eating a western diet (so almost all of us) then this book should be required reading.
It’s both an educational book on A-Fib and a healthy lifestyle book. I have 2 brothers that have had A-Fib issues so I’m requiring all my other family members to read it. It's an easy read, and packed with information and lifestyle advice.
I’ve been a member of Audible for over 20 years. I make it through 1 out of 5 books I start. I made it through this one and plan on going through it again. The narrator does a fantastic job and the way it’s laid out holds your interest. Thank you to those that put this book together. It will be the definitive resource for those interested in learning about, dealing with, and preventing A-Fib.

The Beat Goes On
A very excellent book, with a perfect narration. I strongly recommend this book about an in-depth strategy to get control of your a-fib and possibly even cure it. It is written in a clear and concise manner with just enough repetition at the end of each chapter to reinforce and help the information stick in your mind. For me, I know I will listen a second time as there is a great deal of information.
It is so wonderful to know I am not alone in this battle, that others have succeeded despite it being alot of work, taking much determination, and being a huge lifestyle change. This book told me everything I wanted and needed to know about a-fib and, step by step, what to do to improve my life and live longer and tame the a-fib monster.
If you or someone you know has a-fib, it runs in your family but you don't have it yet, or even if you think you have it under control with meds, this book is for you. Very strongly recommended!

Inciteful and Encouraging
I love this book. packed with knowledge and filled with encouragement. I've been so distraught since developing afib a couple weeks ago, believing my life is now over at moments happening and fearful for my future. This book explained the "value " to be found in my diagnosis. provided examples, eating and living practices. if only I could get in to see my new doctor sooner for his input and plan. We know how even the phone call is stressful because u rarely get in touch with anyone but a recording.
This book is a great beginning to Living Forward through the heartbeat! Read it definitely!
