Excellent Explanation of what goes on INSIDE!!!!
I have done a lot of research on OCD! I have searched for answers and this book is utterly amazing at explaining and covering the topic of what goes on in the mind of us people with OCD! I appreciate how much it tells the story of suffering and not just the external stuff everyone else sees and has to "put up with". I wish I had read this book years ago!!!

Knowledge is Key With OCD!!
My very close friend has OCD, and it is very hard to be in her home for too long of a time as she is completely obsessive over the condition of her home and the way things are placed. I say knowledge is key because, just like the example in the book, once she got her diagnosis, and was made aware of her condition, she began to take steps to improve her responses to the normal every day life that occurred around her. This book is very well researched and on point with its facts, and info on this condition. The info flows in a logical and natural manner. The narrator is very engaging and smooth throughout the book!!. I highly recommend this book for anyone with OCD, or those supporting family members with it.

Timely listen
I recently was asked by my teenaged son if he had OCD. I asked him why he suspected that he did and he rattled off some symptoms. This book has helped me understand the some of the symptoms he shared and has given me some practical strategies to help him in this. I do want to take this seriously as I know of middle school kids who have gone the route of self-harm because they were so affected by OCD. If you or anyone you know is suffering from OCD and the debilitating thought patterns related to it, I highly recommend this book.
