About this listen
If you've ever watched the stock market spinning madly, stocks like GameStop going up 100 percent and then down 50 percent, and wondered whether you could take a slice of the action - the answer is yes!
Learn how to trade based on what the charts tell you, and you can make great returns while limiting your risks. Marty Schwartz used technical trading to boost $40,000 to $20 million in a few years, and Ray Dalio (Bridgewater Associates) built a $10bn fortune setting up computer algorithms to look for good trades.
And plenty of individuals are now using zero-commission brokers like EToro and Robinhood to make their own fortunes. For instance, EToro's details on some of their top traders show:
- Jay Edward Smith made returns of over 50 percent in 2019 trading stocks and cryptocurrencies.
- Olivier Danvel, a low risk trader, has a target 1 percent monthly return and hasn't had a single negative month in three years
- Heloise Greeff has averaged a 20 percent a year return trading stocks and ETFs.
And you could join them! But 90 percent of beginning traders lose money, because they commit these six classic mistakes:
- They don't check chart patterns against other indicators.
- They bet the bank on a single trade.
- They don't get out of a trade when it goes against them.
- They let their emotions run their trades.
- They don't create a proper set of trading rules.
- They don't know how to estimate the risk/return on every trade.
So even if you’ve never listened to a single trading audiobook in your life, you will immediately understand how to become a successful technical trader.
So if you want to make sure you understand when to enter into a trade, then you should listen to this audiobook!

GOLD!
One of the best trading books I have listened to. The author breaks everything down in an easy-to-understand model by discussing the 6 biggest mistakes people make when trading. My favorite part was the discussion on creating trading rules. Even though I have been trading for years, I learned a lot of valuable strategies that I wish I had known before. The narrator also has a great voice and excellent pacing - a joy to listen to.

Everything you need to get started!
A great audiobook for anyone looking into learning about technical analysis. Breaks down the basics, then takes you through common patterns etc to look out for. Even has a chapter for trading psychology which some people may argue is the most important aspect. Very well rounded and informative book!

IF you are looking for great advice on analyzing the markets you MUST listen to this book. It's a great resource for those of us who are beginners. I particularly appreciate the GOLD advice (and warning) to avoid making one of the six classic mistakes.

A great book!
Very well structured and easy to digest despite the vast volume of information. It felt like I already knew most of the things in the book but the few details that I didn't have made all the difference. This book changed the way I now trade. I have more structure, discipline and a whole lot more confidence in my ability to assess and make decisions.
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and experience.

A great guide for beginners
This is a great guide for anyone still relatively new to the stock markets. I've just started learning recently, and this book has been excellent, it covers so much information and has so many great tips all based on proper analysis and years of market trends experience, but at the same time so easy to grasp. I especially found the chapters about avoiding common traps and the trading psychology super interesting! I feel I understand a lot more now, and will keep coming back to this book for reference.

Lots of information!
The title of this book is intimidating but and I was reluctant to pick it up, but when I started reading it, it turned out to be something that I cherish. I have listened to one stock trading book that I like, but I think it took a different approach altogether, and I love it. The book is filled with a lot of information for anyone that wants to start a stock investment. This book had opened my eyes, and it is now leading me in the right direction. I now have informed decision on this topic of investing. The author explained terminologies and concepts clearly, and he also used related examples to make his point. I like this book because the language is friendly and can be related to easily by beginners like myself and even those who have no idea of what stock trading is. I don’t have to crack my brain to figure out what he is trying to say, which is good for all beginners. Overall, this book is a pack of information that will help anyone decide about investing. I would recommend it.
