Summary

Blood means power in a nation on the brink of chaos.

Plagued by nightmares and bleeding daydreams, a woman must make a choice between her duty and her heart, and if she takes too long, fate will decide.

Starlight turns to flames, but from the ashes, a new world will rise.

pure fresh imagination

I absolutely loved the story and the sheer intricate imagination it took to bring it out
it started out a bit slow, but that was understandable in a well organized world building
some characters appeared juvenile at first, however I loved listening to them grow and develop
the story reminded greatly of Greek myths and how the gods don't care about mortals or their kinds.
Although it was One POV from Aislinn's side, something I do not appreciate in fantasy, but I felt here it was necessary especially since the story was not romance oriented at first
I know in book 2 we'll have multiple POVs which is great
I commend the author on her writing style and descriptions. I could picture everything in my mind with her words
