Great Guide to Fight Anxiety
I really enjoyed listening to this anxiety guide for teens, it starts off by defining anxiety, going through the different types and comparing it to stress which is a great starting point for diagnosis. It talks about different methods to overcoming it, as well as the benefits of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Exercises such as gratitude prompts are really useful to convince yourself that you're in a better situation than you think. There's great advice on understanding anxiety triggers such as toxic people and different ways to handle those situations. There are some great methods for de-cluttering and time management (with to-do list templates even provided) as well as tips for test anxiety to help perform at your best during exams. A great listen!

Anxiety relief!
Being a mom of a teenager with anxiety, trying to help her address her anxiety can be a challenging but rewarding experience. This book is one way you can help your teen with their anxiety. I listened to the book first as my daughter also has ADHD so I want to know what the book is about so then we can have conversations and I can help her with the techniques suggested in the book. As a helper, you must be patient and empathetic towards the teens as they navigate their emotions and experiences. It requires creating a safe and comfortable environment for them to express themselves openly and honestly.
While we are there to help guide them, ultimately it is your teen's choice of how they address their anxiety. This book helps to guide them through breathing exercises, mindfulness techniques, and other coping strategies to provide them with the tools they need to manage their anxiety. Witnessing their growth and progress as they learn to cope with their anxiety is a fulfilling experience that can positively impact their lives.
This author understands what it is like for a teen with anxiety, so providing them with real tools and a playbook to help them address their triggers is a game changer. My daughter and I are currently working through the techniques to address her panic attacks and I am very hopeful as we have already started to see some changes.

Great Guide to help overcome Anxiety
This book covers many areas to help overcome anxiety in different situations. Being an overthinker, I especially enjoyed the tools to help me overcome overthinking. Also, in Chapter 6, learning how living in an organized manner helps reduce anxiety was insightful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book as a guide with tools to help overcome anxiety.

I wish I'd had this book years ago
This was a lovely listen. I've struggled with anxiety my whole life, a burden that could have been alleviated sooner had I been given the right tools to deal healthily with my disorder. This listen just does that: It accompanies teens (and adults like myself) to heal and move forward through all the obstacles that anxiety creates. Books like this make it okay to not be okay, and make useful information and advice for young people easy to access.

Effective strategies to handle your fears
I know that this book is written with teens in mind, but the strategies here can help even adults; especially if you are someone who tends to want to hide what you feel or your fears hoping that they'll just go away. This book helps you know that you are not alone and then figure out how to face those anxieties head on. I love that the author begun by describing what anxiety is and the different types so that you know where to place yourself from the get-go.
