Summary

There is no new content in this boxset. If you've already listened to the Augustin Family story, you've already listened to the contents of this box set!

Hints of Spice

When Cin Bradley packs up and moves herself, her mother, and her baby girl away from their home in Connecticut, she has no plans to make a love connection. She’s just trying to get settled into her new house, new job, and new life–until Landry Augustin comes to her front door. Together, they explore the potential of a romance neither was looking for–sweet, and a little spicy.

A Dash of Heat

Maggie Augustin just wanted something sweet. A bit of self-soothing, to take the edge off the loneliness and heartache she’d been quietly enduring. When she walks away from his food truck, box of beignets in hand, she has no idea that Rene St. Martin–not his pastries–is exactly the something sweet she wanted, with the little dash of heat she needs.

A Touch of Sugar

Pru Ashford isn't looking for...anything. Which is how she ends up finding exactly what she needs–a perfect balance of savory and sweet.

Good Novellas, but

I loved the stories, but the male narrator did not fit well. His voice sounds like someone scheming and plotting. His interpretation of the female voice was even worse.

Aside from that, I enjoyed the stories and I look forward to reading more of the author’s work.

couldn't finish it!

I love love love Christina C. Jones the only disappointing thing about the tales she weaves are that they all end eventually. I'm sure I'd have felt the same story line in this set; but I could not tolerate the narration. I am sorely disappointed but I guess this is a set I'll need to purchase in paperback form.

Ugh! The Narrators 😒!

The stories were ok. Not as good as what I'm used to from Christina. The narration was horrible! The accents were not good at all. The female's "male" voice and the male's "female" voice were atrocious! I only finished the book because it was written by Christina

Great stories

Really enjoyed the stories of all three books. Mama Sage was my favorite character. Vera I wanted to fight. The male narrator, his female voice was horrible. the female narrator was better. Both didn't do a very good job of a Cajun accent. But the story line of all three were very good.

SWEET HEAT

Wow, Wow! These stories were amazing. My only complaint is the length of each. I could've listened to each story for hours.I feel like there was do much more to know about each couple. Her characters are always so compelling. The narrators are so amazing & the bring the stories home. Great job CCJ! I can't get enough!

Sweet and Spicy Novella!

I loved the storyline concepts. It was ashamed to waste great storylines on a novella.
The performances were good.
I really enjoyed Cyn’s story!

Story line of the book was good overall. The narration not so much. The Louisiana twain was absolutely horrible! I finish the listening because of the story.

Narrators ruined it.

I wanted to like this series but the female narrator is horrible with the male version and the male narrator is awful when he tries to be the female. Neither were good at the accents. The stories were so short this just made it worse.

Cute stories!

I enjoyed the stories alot!
The narrators weren't great. The southern accents were terrible. Lol...but I persevered because I'm a sucker for a CCJ story and I had not read any of these.
