Summary

The superdreadnought gates into the middle of a battle. Whose side do they take?

Krokus 4. The system’s nexus of intelligent life. Who are the Krokans? Who are the Orau? Are there any good guys to protect?

It’s a dog’s breakfast from the word go. Reynolds is positioned to keep the sides from killing each other while he and the crew try to figure out what is going on. With a healthy dose of skepticism, they dig deep trying to find the truth. Underwater. In the vacuum of space. On another planet. Clues and answers can be found by only the most diligent.

All while fighting for their lives.

It’s business as usual for the superdreadnought and his crew.

Entertaining storyline continues

Phil Thron is among the best narrators and he brings this storyline to life, making it a hard-to-put-down series. the characters continue to be interesting and their banter is fun to listen to. though it does seem that the series is falling into a predictable pattern of stumble upon another planet with issues, fight through bad guys to fix the issue, then go to the next planet with issues. still, with Phil Thron's narration, it's worth continuing.

AI inside a SuperDreadnought, what could go wrong?

This series is both a stand alone and part of a series. If you haven't read The Kurtherian Gambit Series, I enjoyed it, but it's not required, to understand and enjoy this story. I can't recommend the author or the narrator highly enough. This was a fun, fast paced ride across the universe. I will a warning, if you don't like gratuitous, funny swearing, this books not for you. But if you like fast paced action, good versus evil, Listen to this.

Eh

I like Phil Thorn and it was an ok story, but really just Ok. The narrator made it worth the listen but he has had much better stories. I really tried to like the series, made it this far but will go elsewhere from now on.
