Summary
Years ago, an overachieving and harried young mother accidentally flushed her gold watch down the toilet. Time passed, but the image of the lost watch continued to haunt her, a symbol of an overcommitted life. An invitation to go off the grid

Great memories
I walked the Camino 2013, the story brought back beautiful memories. The early starts, the silence, eucalyptus forests and the people. Marvellous just simply marvellous.

Women Walk Too!
Great to read about the Camino from a woman's perspective!
I loved this book which explored so many issues and questions about pilgrimage. I found the intonation of the narrator a little irritating but the intelligent captivating content was too good to miss.
I
The book will assist in planning my own journey on the Portuguese route next year.
