About this listen
The Kindred Spirit Bond makes them powerful....
Lucifer has noticed. As with all young angels on the Guardian path, Allister and Mina undertake a wide variety of missions to discover their Gifts. Meanwhile, Satan and his top lieutenants have a new secret weapon to test, so they set a trap for the pair.
Now, the Guardian Angel candidates need protection. If Spirit's Bane successfully destroys the angels of light, the last line of defense between humans and demons will disappear.

Angels and demons
This is a different book for me but I enjoyed it. I normally choose cozy mysteries but I like the author so thought I would give it a listen. Glad I did and I have downloaded the next next book to see what happens next. I liked the characters and the different situations that they found themselves facing.
The story sees two young guardians under going training to find out what best suits them in order to help humans, so the story starts with little tasks such as stopping a knife fight at a school. That is until the Demons ramp up there attack plan because they have worked out the two new recruits are no ordinary guardians. This ensures that a battle between good and evils starts that could change the word forever but the one thing with demons is they don't fight fair.
I liked the narrator and thought he did some very good voices for the characters.

Training & Missions
I enjoyed this first book in the "Guardian Angel Files". Allister and Mina were two young angels who were training to be Guardians. In order to determine their gifts, they were sent on several missions. In the meantime, the opposing team was following their leader's plans. The story's underlying theme was the war between good and evil and how their representatives' influenced humans and their decisions. The tale was creative and entertaining. I liked some of the characters. I'm looking forward to the second book in this duology. Reuben Corbett's narration was great, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
