It's been a week since the dragon Morishtomaric fell, and Sardelle is not convinced that Ridge is truly gone. As much as I have enjoyed 5 of these books so far the narrator does leave me irritated. It detracts from the story for me.

thoroughly enjoyed the book and the whole series, had my hanging on to ever word to see if they would win the battle against Evensong. will be sad when the series finishes

The world and the characters created are brilliant. You actually care what happens to them. Sardelle ( I have Sigourney Weaver in my head whenever she is "on stage") is an excellent character , Jaxy , Ridge, Tolomec etc are like old friends when you've got into the stories. I was sad when it all came to an end. But....I can always go back to the start and I will, they are really that good. And I'm not Ms Burokers target audience, I'm a 66 year old man but everything is so artfully created that I'm happy to " lose myself in Iskandia " regularly whilst driving. Recommended to everyone age regardless, who enjoy a good yarn.

a lil upsetting in one scene but a part from that its just another tale in this series thats honestly just gotten better with time! thank you! The performance continues to bring this whole story together.

wasn't disappointed with this book a great read, now going to start 7.5 book, read all of these and would highly recommend them. Narrator was excellent too
