Summary

Since he was a small boy, Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status...and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader.

In Son of Hamas, Mosab Yousef—now called Joseph—reveals new information about the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization and unveils the truth about his own role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, the dangerous decision to make his newfound faith public, and his belief that the Christian mandate to “love your enemies” is the only way to peace in the Middle East.

Extraordinary story

Mosab Hassan Yousef is an amazing person. I hope more people like him will emerge from this part of the world and lead them to peace.

His path is the only path to peace, through understanding and forgiveness.

life in Palestine and Israel

A very interesting story of a life in Palestine and Israel. A man who looked through the horrors and seen the truth on both sides. He got out of the lies and changed his religion so everyone in Palestine now hates . his family stayed with him because of being family.

This is more likely to make me Christian more than the Bible would

I'm still not a Christian but I have a lot of respect for this man.

The pain he endured and the bravery he has shown is unimaginable. He delves into his life of a seemingly ordinary palestinian child to a young adult in a terror organisation and eventually defecting and doing what he could to save countless lives from extremism.

It is only unfortunate that we are living here today as of 2024, and the fighting has not stopped.

I am not a religious man, but this man here, his conviction is real and I believe he is doing the right thing.

An Education for us in the muslim flooded times

I have been off muslims since I lived in middle east 35 years ago, and came to realise the mindset.
So listening to Mosab speaking of his family life, I have found myself getting more understanding. It is good to know that he has loving parents who nurtured him so well, and I'm sure this is part of why there was a longing in his heart for truth.
Because of the Islamic dogma, I did not think there were any like Mosab and his family.

The only part of the performance I didn't like is the loud arabic phrases. It's another thing I find it hard to take, especially their constant yell that we hear all the time. which I'm not going to write here.
God bless Mosab Hassan Yousef I've listened to him speak on YouTube and am so impressed at his words and demeanour.
