Summary
She's scared and broken, but soon she'll be mine.
I was only a boy when I saw my mother murdered in front of me. That does something to a man. It turns him hard, cold, and makes him an addict for control. In all things.
My desires are dark and what I'm interested in is far more than simple submission. I've been waiting for someone as broken as me. Someone who truly needs to give up complete control and rely on me to take away her pain. And then I found her. Katia. My kitten. The moment I laid eyes on her gorgeous face, full lips, and seductive curves, she stole the air from my lungs. It's been so long since I've wanted something so intensely. She devours my every waking moment, teasing me with just a taste. She's stronger than she knows, but haunted by a past that won't loosen its grip on her. She's refused my collar and I know why. The last one she wore wasn't by choice. But this time she's going to beg for it.
I can give her what he didn't - true domination and trust. I'll own her pleasure, her happiness, and she can sate my desire for complete control. I only need her to give me a chance.
Just one chance to buy her. The moment she agrees and steps on that stage at the auction, she's mine. But she doesn't have to worry, I'll care for all her desires.
Sold is a full-length standalone dark romance with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger.

Kinky heaven
If you like kink, you'll love this book. It goes deep into the conversation about M/s (Master/slave) relationships.
I liked this (book 2 of the Highest Bidder series) better than the first book, Bought.
Great narration.

Gritty...but satisfying
After Katia survived a deathdifying ordeal she feels broken in so many ways. Isaac sees her as a diamond in the rough. Katia feels so damaged but Isaac feels compelled to help her heal. Question is who saves who? This is a very dark romance but makes you appreciate the HEA in the end.
Hayden Bishop does a wonderful job narrating this story as you take a ride along the emotional journey with the characters.

WoW 🔥 story !
OMG I spent the whole night listening to this book it was that good . I knew I should have stopped by midnight but I couldn't ! I was crying like a baby before the end . I love when an author can write where the words paint the pictures in my mind's eye ! This author made the story so real for me I was totally wrapped up in it !

What a Asshole, What a Wimp
This misogynistic novel appeared to romanticize and condone human slavery and sexual assault, suggesting that inferior women deserve to be beaten and tortured by superior men. The main asshole showed no affection, respect, compassion or human kindness toward the pathetically stupid Kat who lacked mature judgment and self-esteem. Not romantic, not erotic, not entertaining, just violent, degrading and depressing.

What appears to be a light read is far from light...
I was surprised how good this book was. There is very little outside angst; but reading/listening to how a M/s relationship could be used to heal was very enlightening. Makes me wonder if we all might should have our very own?
In my opinion, this is worth every penny.

Surprisingly heartwarming and touching!
Although this story was hot, sexy, and delicious, it was unexpectedly warm and beautiful. I truly believe there is a person that is your soulmate and if you're lucky enough to find them, you need to hold on as tight as you can and never let go. That was what this story was about, soul mates. It was beautiful and I highly recommend it, along with the steamy romance scenes, the dominance, and the submission, not to mention the hot sex!
There's is a lot in the story itself. it is about two damaged people who found solace in each other's arms despite the fact they struggled with finding themselves even worthy to be loved, but in the end, aren't we all human, flawed and broken? Don't we deserve forgiveness and love? I think we do and this story is a perfect example of this. Read it, you can't go wrong.

Did not finish
I didn’t enjoy this book or the narrating. Couldn’t get into the story or the characters. Sometimes, narrators make it worthwhile anyway - this time they didn’t
