A great resource
This audible resonated with me on a profound level, touching the very core of the struggles I've witnessed among friends lost to the clutches of alcohol. Sean Alexander's narrative is informative and a beacon of hope for those navigating the challenging path to sobriety.
From the opening pages, the author digs into the harsh realities of the damage alcohol inflicts on the body, mind, and soul. What sets this book apart is its unwavering focus on the immense possibilities that open up when one embraces a sober lifestyle. Alexander's writing is clear, direct, and impactful, making the facts about alcohol's consequences blunt and unequivocal.
Beyond the specifics of alcohol-related challenges, this book transcends its subject matter. It offers insights and knowledge applicable to various aspects of life, making it a valuable resource for anyone seeking positive change. The emphasis on what can be achieved while sober is empowering and instills a sense of optimism for those grappling with the shadows of alcohol.
The 31-day guided sobriety journal, "The Challenge," is a masterfully crafted companion, providing a structured and motivating path to self-discovery and lasting change. Incorporating positive psychology principles, personal experiences, and professional counseling guidance elevates this sobriety journal to a holistic and transformative tool.
I genuinely love the community aspect. Sobriety is not a solitary journey, and the author acknowledges this by providing access to a fantastic community of individuals who have walked the same path.
"Sober On A Drunk Planet – The Challenge" is not just a book; it's a life-changing guide for anyone ready to break free from the chains of alcohol. I'll be offering this as a resource in my life coaching practice. I highly recommend it

A very different audiobook
This book is a journal in audiobook form, which is a novel approach, but one that really works. Lots of sobriety tips at the beginning of the book, then 31 days of journalling including stories and questions to keep you on track. Thoroughly recommend.

Stay Sober and Inspired

The book is thoughtfully designed to offer daily prompts and reflections that help its readers stay on track and maintain sobriety. Each day's entry is presented in a clear and concise manner, making it easy to follow along even for those who are new to journaling.
One of the things I appreciate most about this journal is the author's emphasis on self-reflection. The prompts are designed to encourage readers to look inward and examine their thoughts and feelings, which is an important part of the recovery process. The daily reflections offer insight and inspiration, helping readers stay motivated and focused on their goals.

Sober-Minded
"The answer could be boiled down to one fact: when you stop drinking alcohol, life opens up in ways you never thought possible."
I have had more time, energy, and money as I have started the 31-day challenge of this book.
Knowing all the downfalls of drinking and the positives of stopping made the decision really easy. It's just not worth it.
The pain is too much for the pleasure, especially when there are so many other ways to get enjoyment from life that are better for my health.
I appreciated the PDF that came with this audiobook, which broke down the journal prompts and kept to the challenge. I downloaded it to my tablet and had alarms set to do the practices. It keeps me on track and sober-minded!
