Ready-made recommendations for action.

There are many practical techniques and exercises that you can immediately apply in your life. I have recognised my behaviour in some examples. These examples are considered in detail. Also clearly showing the wrong thoughts that lead you to anxiety and worry. The book is suitable for practical study and application. I will definitely re-listen to the book from time to time.

Personally not for me but will help others

I agree with the principles and methods behind this book, there is method in the madness, it's just not the kind of madness I want in my life. I could not get on with the 'playful exaggeration's' at all. The examples given were so cringeworthy it was like being forced to watch Dad Dancing or something equally as unpleasant. I wanted the narrator to stop every time he started singing or said yet another playful exaggeration.

Similar to laughter therapy it is supposed to help you change any negative thought pattern into a positive, just by switching up the narrative. This is done with a playful exaggeration. By rephrasing a thought into the most ridiculous way possible with the addition of humour will help to kick you out of negatively, thus creating less impact on your emotions. By changing this perspective you will ultimately reduce your stress and anxiety levels and live a happier life. Although I found the playful exaggerations lame and a concept that does not appeal to me, the idea is to make it your own, adapt them to your own personality.

What's great about the book is that it covers a wide variety of subjects the author recommends everyone be conscious of, such as using your intuition, eating healthily, impact on the environment and more, which is said in a non-judgmental way.
There are lots of examples of how to handle difficult social situations which plenty of people will find useful. The author also suggest methods like mindfulness, visualisation and deep breathing to help you maintain good mental health on a daily basis. The audiobook itself is very practical to use in that it will explain a method/exaggeration, give an example of it, then will tell you to pause the book in real time to allow you to practice it before continuing.

The power of here!

Straightforward, simple to implement techniques that are already working for me. Sadly the narrator missed the mark somewhat but worth persevering to get to the hidden gems.
