Summary

A lone survivor embarks on a post-apocalyptic quest for revenge in the seventh installment of this gritty zombie-thriller series.

Killing the sadistic warlord known as the Dog Tongue took everything Gus Berry had, including the woman he loved. Now, all he wants is to get away from the bloody scene of their final showdown. But when he heads west in a stolen truck, a brutal snowstorm forces him to turn back—and seek refuge in the Dog Tongue’s former headquarters.

Though it’s littered with human carnage, the abandoned luxury hotel has a lot to offer a guy like Gus. But in addition to soft beds and working toilets, he encounters still-lurking dangers both living and undead. Determined to destroy the Dog Tongue’s followers once and for all, he resolves to follow their ominous trail wherever it may lead . . .

Combining dystopian suspense and zombie-killing action with complex characters and dark humor, Skull Road is the seventh book in Keith C. Blackmore’s thrilling Mountain Man series—perfect for fans of HBO’s The Last of Us

Weakest of the series

I LOVE the MM collection and am emotionally invested.

For me, this was the weakest and it almost lost me early on. The last third saved it.

Just a bit meh

review

This final book in the series was incredible, didn't want it to end. The narration was excellent. I will be listening to the whole series again, very soon.

Fantastic work

Great listening all the way through. You would think that the 7th book in the trilogy would get a bit boring, but no this was one of the better ones.
Another book series that i will listen to again in a year or two just great stuff.👍👍👍👍👍

A fine addition to an enjoyable series

Always a pleasure to check in with Gus. R C Bray is a master narrator. Looking forward to the next installment.

Brilliant, just brilliant

What a fantastic ending to the series, a little rushed in the middle, but it’s always great to have a decent ending and to end on a high! Thank you for the immersive entertainment that’s filled a few days of my life! As for narration, RC Bray… when you know, you know!

Great work

Never get tired of this story hopefully more soon. The main character Gus struggles through the saga and his progression is always interesting to hear

An Awesome Series

Loved every book in this series and this was a great way to end it. The narration was brilliant as usual and the story kept me gripped throughout. Just a shame it’s over!
