Summary

When darkness descends, devouring all light and life from the world, what hope is left?

The scales have been tipped, someone else’s blood has been used to rise Ares, and the war between The Gifted has arrived. Now, there are Fae hunting Evangeline. Their only goal is to sacrifice her to their one true leader.

Forced to flee the academy, she must embark on a hunt of her own to acquire a scythe. A long lost weapon that will not only strengthen her powers, but is the only hope she has in defeating Ares. However, she is not the only one searching for it.

She must learn to combine and control the darkness and light within her. If she doesn’t, she risks being consumed by the very darkness she was born with. Putting not only her own life at risk, but also those of the ones she loves.

The apocalypse is spreading, with the presence of evil growing stronger with it.

This story will draw you in like a Siren

This is the third and final audio in the series . This third continues right where book 2 finished . The author Jade Wrote a very detailed description, the characters are strong willed. The author will draw your attention the story has mystery like the first 2 action, lots of it and elements that Eva has learned to control.
Heroine is Eva.
Eva magic is growing so strong but she’s still being haunted and betrayed, she still doesn’t know who. she has to lean how to control the dark with the light . While the others need to work harder …. Who wants to destroy Eva and why . Grab it and find out .

Michelle Shure Performance was fantastic. She brought the characters and situations to life. It seemed you were right there

A word conclusion

Great ending to this story, and I feel there still could come more from these characters. Sad of the loss of another key figure and whether they had willing sacrifices themselves but it wasn't out of place. I think the honour given each character was great. A worthy trilogy. Love to hear this story from other point of views, or fresh stories with this ragtag family going on. Great potential. You want love, fear, sacrifice, .......it's all here

Fantastic!

Siren Rises, the third book on the Rise of Ares, is wonderfully written, jammed packed with mystery drama, action, and fascinating elements. The characters have come a long way, particularly Evie. The storyline is fast-paced, vivid, and entertaining, capturing my attention from the very start to the finish. The series has to be read in order; otherwise, you'd be totally lost.

The outstanding narration by Michelle Shure. She emulated the characters' personalities, emotions, and animation found in the pages, bringing the story to life. All in all, Siren Dreams was a very enjoyable listen, one I'll highly recommend.

a lot going on

the narrator does a good job with the voices. like I've said before when I've listened to her I increase the speed to 1.4 as I require a faster pace.

the story idea is good, I just think there is a lot going on and it is really confusing at times. I feel there is to much wipe lash with some of the sorry line bonded not bonded. evil not evil, possibly evil again. I think more character development was necessary to really get an idea of where the story needed to go. I felt similarly with the first two. interesting story premise but confusing avenues.

Interesting conclusion

I’m not sure what happened tbh I’ve missed a few things 🙈 I’ve got a few questions but I don’t want to pop spoilers here so I’ll do that on good reads.

A great series

I enjoyed this story The darkness was spreading in the return of Ares. Evangeline & her friends had to stop him. All everyone kept saying was that Evageline was the only one who could stop him but she didn't know how she was suppose to do it. Her group was sent to search for a magical item that would aid them They encountered many dangerous enemies along the way & their friendships were tested. The author did a great job with the characters and the plot. A must read series.

Disappointed with the 3rd book!

Problem after Problem, Nothing going Correctly, Real people that young would have lost ability to continue. I know it is a Fantasy story, but come on Really??? Author disappointed reader in a big way. First 2 book were good and I was looking forward to how the story played out, But this was just TO DEPRESSING and Disappointing. Narrator did a good job with the storyline anyway.

Baskerville Book Reviews

Picking right up where part 2 left off, this book doesn’t let up. It’s full of exciting combat, betrayal, fights for survival and, uncertain odds. This book had me eagerly anticipating what was going to happen next.

I normally don’t talk about the endings. Maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention or maybe I missed something. But the ending made sense to me, until the prologue where it left me confused. I’m not going to dwell on it because I enjoyed the series and story overall.

The narrator was excellent overall. This has been one of the few Audible books I’ve listened to that didn’t have a single audio hiccup.

I think this series could have been condensed down to a single book or two. The aspect of the story that benefitted most from this was the character development which is admittedly not my strong suit. After listening to these books over the course of four days, I know one character’s name. I tend to remember people (and characters) based on their actions and what they represent more than who they are as a person or their name, face, or voice.

As with the first two, I recommend this book. I think it makes for an excellent finale.

Mixed feelings.

I don’t know if it is me but this book didn’t do it for me. It’s well written, has emotion, turmoil, epic battles and all the things a fantasy novel should. I was just eh about it though. So I went in between. This would be amazing series for YA because it’s An epic trilogy full of adventure and adulty moments are not included. but for me it just kind of fell flat through most of it compared to the previous books.

Another great book book to end this Trilogy!

I didn’t go into this series expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a great, action packed, having you on the edge of your seat, thrill ride. I enjoyed that this book had just the right amount of love, that made it so it wasn’t cheesy. I enjoyed each character & how the author portrayed them. I kind of felt like there was a deja vu moment (it was like reading the love story between Edward, Bella and Jacob for a little while).
I really enjoyed the new

Best of the series

I definitely thought this book was the best of the series. I felt like the author finally kind of settled into the world and settled into the story. My only complaint is at the final battle felt a little anticlimactic but it may have just been because I was doing an audiobook of it rather than reading a physical copy.
overall I enjoyed the series and would definitely recommend it to somebody who likes urban fantasy and shifter stories.
