Summary

Dear Internet: I (33F) work at a local paper, and two months ago, my editor assigned me a huge project - run the upcoming, highly anticipated Bachelor Anonymous contest.

Men from all over Southern California, vying for the coveted bachelor role, submitted their personal ads to my paper. The readers voted, and Single Dad Seeks Juliet won by a landslide.

Enter Mr. Bachelor Anonymous (40M), the single-dad Romeo seeking his Juliet. Blah, blah, blah, right? Wrong.

This guy is the ultimate man in a six-foot-three, chiseled-muscle, freaking Adonis package with aquamarine eyes. He's a former Navy SEAL, successful business owner, motocross-riding, charming, supportive, funny-as-heck single dad, and the more time I spend with him, the more I want to bring this contest thing crumbling to the ground for an entirely different reason.

Real talk: I think I'm falling for him.

Me, the woman who despises love, might be falling for the completely off-limits bachelor who I'm ironically assigned to help find love, while five other women think they're the only contestants competing for his heart. So, Internet. Am I scum? Or is all fair in love and war?

Contains mature themes.

Full of laughs, Romance and love

a great Story. Narrator s bring characters to life. The sometimes slapstick style comedy keeps it light. The story line keeps you listening. first listen from this Author, and glad I used my credit.

Fun story

The story was great! I did have to laugh as the male voice doing the female voice sounded like SpongeBob. If you can get past that & listen to it for entertainment, it is a fun story!

Nothing deep but I liked it

Something light. I liked the story but I was not a fan of the female narrator.

So sad and disappointed

I love this book and was so excited to start listening, but I cannot get past the male’s voice. I couldn’t even get through the third chapter. The constant strain in his voice just sounds constipated. Love you Max Monroe, but just wish for a different voice or a less “strained” accent.

Good but male voice horrible

Male voice was extremely horrible to listen to. Perfect description: When a guy is putting on a fake girl voice to complain about something his wife said.

Cute story

Loved the story and the narrators did an excellent job I just couldn't picture Alexander's voice and the sexy ex-military guy. But other than that I did enjoy it.

Loved the story, not the performance.

I’ve read the book before and wanted to get the audio recording to listen to while I paint. But, I regretted the purchase almost immediately because I didn’t sample the narration before buying.
Stephanie Rose’s performance was annoying and very difficult to listen to. Her voice did not fit the character of Holly. I really hated it.
Alexander Cendese was okay, but I don’t believe his voice fit the chsra

Cute story

Cute story… but struggled when the male narrator would do the female voices. He sounded like a young child when they were for a high school senior and a grown woman. It would kill the vibe which is a bummer b/c he was nice as the male lead.

So sweet my teeth ache ❤

Jake and Holly falling in love is a sweet, funny story. Not laugh out loud funny but definitely make you uncontrollably smile kind of funny. Jake is a 40 y/o single dad always cracking jokes and having a good time with everything he does, he is well aware he was given one life to live and does it to the fullest. Holly is a clumsy 33y/o woman, who has trouble seeing how amazing she is because of past heartbreak, and Jake helps her breakout of her safe shell. They are perfect for each other and take a minute to see it.

Narration was great, I think Alexander does an amazing job for funny, carefree characters like this. Stephanie tends to sound a little young and valley girl-ish at times but I get used to it quick, doesn't effect the story.
