ugh
I went through the whole series because I drive all day for work and needed to have books to listen to. The whole series is kinda all over the place. A lot of plot holes and missing context, plus some immature dialogue.
This last book started out exciting for me and ended in the weirdest way it could... a SUPER ham fisted crossover. So much was left unresolved and suddenly it is all new characters and awkward interactions between new and old characters.
I was ok with the series and lost it at the finish line. quit listening with 1.5 hours left.

Bro.... For real?!
Blew my fucking mind when Breaker's Berserkers joined at the end! Really though, did you and Jamie Hawke plan this shit? I was trippin on so many similarities for the first 3 books, though this was extremely PG in comparison to Hawke's series. Hadreon was the first indication, but then the Prenaders.... That's when it got super fishy! Still though, I NEVER expected this! The Shadow Mystic shoulda been a dead giveaway, but I somehow never caught that connection! This was EPIC! I'm gonna listen to your "Supers" titles with the hopes of more overlapping. THANK YOU!

Author Really Lost it on This one
The other books were good, not great though. This book lost the build up for this great war that was building with each book. When the war finally came, it was about a half a page long. It completely deflated and died.
There is so much wrong with this book I don't even want to take the time to point them all out. I will say it was a great disappointment.

Author lost the way
This book went from being a “litrpg” to being a sci-fi story, with no true direction.

meh
I found the romance component to the story to be a bit lame. It seemed unnecessary and like it sprang out of nowhere just to fit the end game needs of the plot.

Could have had a better ending
I listen to audiobooks for 10hrs a day. I have devoured thousand of hours. The ending to this book would have been better if you just stop listening with 2 hrs left

Droka, The Deceiver!
The fate of Earth hangs in the balance. Droka, The Deceiver, a massive crocodile on two legs must be stopped. The Shadow Mystic was here for vengeance and justice. If ever there had been an OP Hero, she had entered that level. The fight with Droka was exhilarating, all of Samantha’s powers on display. Where is Hadrian? Advancing to the position of Elder in the Citadel, and her reunion with Dex, Samantha was exuberant. A very good series. I enjoyed it.
