Summary
When Special Agent Keir Ortega busts Tartino and his gang for drug trafficking and selling weapons to the American black market, she thinks she can rest her mind of the case. However, after finding out that New York's Ronnie Giorgio might be an extension of this criminal activity, Keir is assigned to search the streets of New York to find the new ringleader in this crime.
She is led to the theater district, where she meets Gina, a woman who always seems to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. This woman might be the key to busting the drug chain that is thriving along the New York Harbor, but who is she? And can she be trusted?
As Keir learns more about the woman, she starts to feel something she hasn't felt before. Gina is captivating, entrancing, and Keir's weakness. Will Keir be able to solve the case before her heart gives in to this vixen's subtle charm, or will Gina be her destruction?

Action Packed!

This book is action packed! The author built her characters very well in such a short time. I really, really enjoyed this book.

Fast paced
This book was a bit to fast paced and left me confused at times. You should definitely not get distracted when you listen to this book or you will be lost!
The narrator has given each character a voice, she has definitely perfected the Jamaican accent. She did great with keeping her tone suspenseful throughout!

Wow, non stop action
This book is full on non stop action packed! There isn’t any part of this storyline that will have you taking a breath. Good characters and a great narration from Victoria.

All Over the Place 😯
This was a rough one for me to review because it just wasn't one of my favorite's of Nicole Higginbotham-Hogue.
I felt maybe Nicole was trying to put too much in a limited amount of space and time. I was trying very hard to follow the storyline, many times it just didn't jive with what was happening at the moment. I've listened to other novels by Nicole and had enjoyed them.
The narrator Victoria Robinson I hadn't listened to her before, so I would like to hold my review to her reading to another book.

I usually like this authors books.I had a hard time listening to this one due to the narrator.Her over the top,yet unbelievable voices were cringeworthy to me.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Slow burn but a HEA

There is a few twists but this book was a slow burn. The story itself is a about 3 hours long so its not a huge demanding book if you need a short book for a journey and dont want to invest a huge amount of time.
Easy to pick up and put down, the plot was not too difficult to follow.
There was no cliff hanger or second book you need to purchase.
