About this listen

A moving saga of friendship, secrets, and resilience set in the heart of pre-WWI London.

In Secrets of the Jam Factory Girls, bestselling author Mary Wood weaves a captivating tale of three women navigating life's challenges in the bustling city. Elsie has risen through the ranks at Swift's Jam Factory, but an incident involving her half-sister Millie's new husband threatens to shatter their bond. Dot, yearning for happiness with her beloved Cess, finds herself trapped in an asylum, haunted by the cries of inmates. Millie, meanwhile, discovers that the man she loves may not be all he seems.

As the shadow of the First World War looms, can these resilient women forge the futures they deserve? Brimming with warmth, drama, and the strength of female friendship, this historical saga will transport you to a time of change and hope.

The Jam Factory Girls series continues with this heartfelt and engaging sequel.

This is book 2 of the trilogy and book 1 was equally good. I have pre-ordered book 3. I found the story lines to really hold my interest but the main thing was that the storyline was not dragged out for chapters before it was resolved. I am looking forward to the final book of the trilogy.

Really Enjoyable
