Adriel & Kayla are soul mates, and you can feel that off the page and the audiobook 🔥 They heal each others scars mentally & physically. Adriel gives her the control she needs, and Kayla gives him something that he never had love... no spoilers“I send them back to hell, Kayla. Where they belong.”
NOW this is not only a love story. It's a self-healing story from past injures and injustice inflicted on them. The best thing about looking into the past and getting all the information comes into the light, and Adriel FINALLY sees that not everything is black and white... just a lot of pain.
🎙 J.F Harding & C J Bloom did a beautiful job and I got tearful especially them sweet valuable moments especially when it involves "is this hug okay" just small thing that you as a person don't realise how important a hug is and many more
Ahhh, there are some many tense scenes ESPECIALLY the family reunion parts...no spoilers. When a certain little girl Sophia gives her little words of wisdom she brought the family together all from a little wish to Santa...no spoilers That little wish melted Uncle Adriel heart and she created a little nickname for the couple. Just hearing that scene begin played out made me smile because, it's a new chapter for the family. They are done with the past chapters which everyone should learn from. Intoxicating listening
JF Harding and CJ did an amazing job narrating this story. It was such a fabulous listening experience, I didn't want it to end! The range of characters they had to portray was quite large but whether they were young, old, female, male, or even a different nationality - they were flawless.
Adriel and Kayla's story was beyond anything I could have imagined. I was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, and when it finally did I was left speechless. I couldn't believe the twist that was thrown in... I will be eagerly awaiting the next audio release from Mrs Harris.

'A'-mazing! Adriel & Kayla Are A Killer Couple!
Are you ready for Savage Wounds to be taken to a whole new level with its audiobook adaptation? Yes? Good! Because its here and its an audiobook adventure that you surely should not miss. If you were a fan of the ebook/paperback version, couple it with this and you’ll appreciate Lilian’s writing even more than you do already.
When I tell you I was ecstatic to see the news that the ALC of this audiobook would soon be landing in my inbox? I’m not lying. Lilian is always a reason to be ecstatic in the first place, be it anything about her or her work, but her audiobooks are truly something special to be enjoyed by anyone who loves to hear the adventures in the book play out in their ears. I am, for sure. Especially with two narrators that I haven’t had the pleasure of listening to before, at the helm.
It’s been a hot minute since the audiobook for the previous book in the series, Twisted Promises, so lets jump right into this!
Taking on the reins for this next chapter, pun intended, of the audiobook releases are as I mentioned, two narrators that I had yet to listen to as a listener of audiobooks. These are two that I have seen narrate other books that my fellow readers have shared, so I am familiar with their names at least. Stepping into the shoes as our FMC is CJ Bloom and with her, our MMC, ‘A’/Adriel is JF Harding. It’s always a great time getting familiar with new-to-me-narrators, and Lilian doesn’t pick anyone less than suitable for the role so already before listening to them both, I held my full faith in them.
If you’re like me, you’ve already read the story and therefore will be fully familiar with the storyline/plot. This, however, is not a negative. Audiobooks elevate the story to a new level, I always feel, so it never feels like you’re going into listening to one knowing the story already. I’m pleased to say that this is once more the case with Savage Wound’s audiobook. Zero complaints from me about any aspect of this book-to-audiobook adaptation. My faith wasn’t lost in Lilian’s choices of narrators, and as was the case with Twisted Promises’ audiobook, several pauses had to be done throughout because w.o.a.h, a cooldown was a must. Stellar performances by both, so worthy of a round of applause.
CJ Bloom was the perfect Kayla Jenkins. This role was meant to be hers and where I usually put female narrators on a faster listening speed, I kept CJ at the regular x1 and thoroughly enjoyed her performance. Genuinely impressed with how she embodied Kayla’s character, narrating A’s/Adriel’s parts in the ‘man voice’ we readers love that female narrators do perfectly. Which CJ did here. Open to hearing her return for more Lilian audiobooks in the future, if asked.
Now, lets talk JF Harding. His character of ‘A’/Adriel was already a knockout to me as a reader who loves her gritty, dark MMCs, so I knew I had to brace myself for whoever it was that would be narrating his POV. I was right to do so, for all the right reasons. JF really stepped up the character’s power, darkness and all the delicious bits we read about, now said aloud. I think his portrayal of ‘A’/Adrial might be on of my favourites yet. Infinite star-rated performance!
Eleven and a half hours simply flew by with another highly enjoyable audiobook from one of my favourite authors, with two narrators who I will now be looking into their previous works to add to my ‘to listen’ list. Thank you all, for this gem of a listen!

loved everything. the suspense and the unknown...
After some bad couple of days, what's better to brighten my mood and my spirit?
A new book, that's what. And to top it all is not only from one author I love and a series that I can't get enough of.
Lilian Harris hasn't been in my reading life for long, but after just a few books she was able to grab my heart and soul and I'm never going to let her go.
Savage Wounds is her latest release and it's the fourth book from the Messina Crime Family... And what a family...
Have you had the chance to read the first three books from this series?
Oh guys, you really need to because you're in it for a bumpy ride.
This book explores the lives of Adriel and Kayla.
How can two broken souls mend each other?
These two had their fair share of trauma and darkness, so what better way than fighting their demons and taking care of their wounds together?
It should sound like a fairytale but it's the opposite.
It's like a dark knight that will do everything to protect the damsel in distress, but she's far from one. Her past made her the way she is.
And...
Dayum...this book...
Amazing plot, well written, super dark, engaging, and hot as hell.
When it ended I was left with mixing feelings all at once. First anger...So much anger because the book was over and because the series ended... WHY??? WHY???
Then total elation because these two were the perfect addition to this spectacular series and I couldn't get enough of them.
The way this story progressed left me on edge the entire time, but it's just the way I love it.
I love a book that can evoke all these emotions in me and I'm always eager for more.
The characters work perfectly with each other and you can see right through them because they wear their emotion like a silk camisole.
How can two lost and tormented souls find their path?
I knew that this book was going to be amazing and it was so much more.
I'm in love and sad because it's over.
The danger, darkness, and betrayal are very present as well as love, loyalty, and hot as hell scenes...
Mafia is, by far, my favorite genre and Lilian Harris knows how to write them.
Another masterpiece Lilian and I'm so lucky for the chance to read it.

I didn't thought that this book could get any better... Boy, was I wrong.
This audio was freaking amazing and these voices... surreal.
These narrators just came to reinforce my love for this series and I want you all to read it and hear it.
Trust me, you won't regret it.
If you are crazy like me, lol, crazy for books, read this book first, and only then hear the audio.
You'll love it even more.

Masked Stalker Vigilante Mafia Romance
Savage Wounds by Lilian Harris is a masked stalker vigilante mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by J.F. Harding and CJ Bloom. This is the fourth and final book in the Messina Crime Family series.
I really enjoyed the relationship between Adriel and Kayla. I loved getting Adriel, Kayla, and Chris points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
J.F. Harding and CJ Bloom did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a mafia romance, stalker romance, vigilante romance or romantic suspense.
