The premise has been done before but that didn’t deter me,, I wanted to be entertained. However, the somewhat cliched writing and phrasing, and the female narration let it down. I think the female narrators voice might be better suited to a younger character, and careful attention to emphases and pauses would help too.

I gave up after chapter 12.

3,5🌟 I was good, but not extraordinary. They enter in an agreement in order I save her father 's company from this dangerous mafia family. The MMC is a massive , controlling ahole, that goes hot and cold because of one major event is his earlier life. Despite being interested and intrigued by him, she deeply resents their agreement.
There is plenty of spice, and drama. Plus it ends on a cliffhanger.
