Summary

Dark, dangerous mafia soldiers like Marco Russo were made men, but luckily for me, they weren’t made for marriage. Which made my job of seducing him so much easier.

Excellent leading lady

I love this storyline! These characters are so good. With so much going on and the bravest leading lady I loved it. With an amazing performance from Lia.

A GOOD SLOW-BURN OF A SECOND BOOK

He’s a Soldier and the Playboy middle son of the Russo Mafia.. and he’s about to get lured and played in this compelling trap that entices the fun bad-boy to make the biggest (and best) mistake of his life. Kennedy’s been trained by the best to shield her emotions, shield her truths and shield her FBI handler’s plans.. shame she didn’t shield her heart too. Their chemistry is the spark that starts things off.. their sexcapades is the heat.. their pillow-talk is the heart.. and the life-threatening suspense and danger will be the explosive catalyst that spills truths.

Worth a credit? Like the previous book, I would’ve loved to hear a male narrator for Marco’s POV - however, Lia was excellent and did a great job. But (for me) it lacked the swoon-factor because no sexy alpha male voice does make a difference 😉. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable slow-burn as walls came down and personalities shone through. Any yes, IMO, creditworthy.
