Summary
This is a story of impossible misfortune and improbable good luck - the compelling and uplifting account of the boy who made it out of the ghetto, survived Auschwitz and Stutthof, and endured the Dresden bombing before escaping to England.

A Really Good Listen
This is a book that stays with you for a long time afterwards.
Despite the subject matter it is not an entirly sad book, but it is very moving. When you listen to it, you are there with him all the way.
I listened to this on a beach holiday in Asia, but I still felt the cold of war time Europe. The narration is perfect, and I would reccommend this as a really good listen.
