About this listen
For many, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has proved to be a tipping point, a treatment through which they are finally able to make significant changes and break free of anxiety and depression.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 7 Weeks is an interactive audio workbook that outlines a simple, practical plan that occurs over the course of seven weeks, and offers real, tangible relief from anxiety and depression. This is a cumulative workbook - the work you do each week builds upon that of the last and, ultimately, creates a lasting CBT tool kit that will prepare you to handle future challenges as they come.
In his private practice, licensed psychologist Dr. Seth Gillihan specializes in the use of cognitive-behavioral treatment for anxiety and depression. He concentrates on the specific needs of each patient by using the evidence-based, solution-focused treatment principles of CBT - the fundamentals of which are at the core of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 7 Weeks. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 7 Weeks you will become familiar with the basic principles of CBT and understand how it works, define specific goals that you'll work toward over the course of seven weeks, and learn fundamental CBT skills through guided writing exercises that apply to your current, real-life challenges.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in 7 Weeks is the most comprehensive yet efficient workbook available for using CBT to address anxiety and depression.

Clear and logical programme
This manual for CBT is clear and easy to implement. It all makes sense and I feel positive about it working. I have tried the techniques on myself and they feel powerful. Next step is to try it out with a subject.

Amazing!
I can not recommend this book highly enough if you are feeling stuck and need a clear plan of how to pull yourself out of a dark hole and shifting forward. I am so grateful to the wonderful man that has produced this to support others. I love the real life examples! I have learnt so much and it really helps with self reflection. If you want to grow as a person this book is for you!

Great book.
The book helped me through a depression that I have. Is really filled with examples of real life that everybody can relate. Examples that can teach us where we do mistakes and how. I totally enjoyed and recommend.

What more could I expect
This book exceeded my expectations in all respects. Good plan, excellent guidance, clear and easy to follow narration. Small issue with the pdf, it has parts of the pages missing. Highly recommended.

Pages missing from workbook.
I am enjoying completing this, the audio that you listen along side really helps. There are pages missing from the PDF download though which make some parts difficult to fill out.

Ok so far but the pdf workbook is not complete
I bought the audio book and have started. However the pdf work book is not complete. Some of the pages are missing. I contacted audible who in turn contacted the publisher. Publisher has said they will NOT update the pdf. Audible refunded me, to their credit. Poor show by the publishers though.
You can still go through the exercises but it would have been easier with a work book

Very Insightful and hopeful
Listened to this at work doing manual labour and not done the writing down yet. Very insightful and it has some of it hits home to how I feel. Hopeful this will help me out of this hole I’m in.

Annoying narrator
Too American, too slow, too annoying. How many words is that now? Still not enough?
