Summary

Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is the unforgettable story of the life of Jesse Livermore, one of Wall Street's greatest ever stock speculators.

Loosely fictionalised in 1923 in collaboration with journalist Edwin Lefevre, this is the story of the highs and the lows, the strategies and the street smarts, the epic wins (and sometimes epic losses) that has inspired generations of investors and traders.

This edition comes with an exclusive foreword by Tim Price, author of Investing Through the Looking Glass.

Harriman Definitive Editions offer the best quality editions of the best financial books of all time. Meticulously proofread, accompanied by forewords by the best modern financial writers, they are essential long-term additions to the portfolio of every investor and trader.

Quite dull

I bought this, I sold that, I traded this, I traded that. It didn't get much more interesting than that and I maybe learned a thing or two about trading in the early 1900s but I didn't think it was a particularly interesting or inspiring story.

Great narration of timeless story

The story is very relevant in 2023 and I think will remain so for years to come. The narrator has a pleasant, soothing voice.

A superb insight to manipulation and market making.

For anyone who enjoyed market wizards, youll love this. Set in the early 1900s, the stories from the market are just as relevant today. Cant recommend enough! Loved it!

Can recommend if your interested of traiding

I think it was really interesting to hear how has stock trading been on the beginning 1900. Book was well writen and reader was good also. Only thing that I didn’t like was that the book was jumping back and forth on the timeline and made it hard to realise that which part of the persons life it is now.
