Buy this book! It’s brilliant.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s as good as all the others in the series. It kept me gripped through the whole book. If u like gore then this is a must have purchased. The characters are brilliantly portrayed and the narrator does such a great job of bringing the characters to life. I’ve listened to all the books in the series and would highly recommend them all.

Explosive conclusion
Non stop action, as Grady clashes with with Mead, Wim and allies, for an explosive conclusion, and some surprising plot twists. Fantastic narration from the melodious Matthew Crow, and a sample of his singing! I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

is this the end of the series
well it starts back with whim and then it embarks on another adventure where now there other settlements some good one bad and one traveling zombie nightmare of a show I want go into to much details as I wouldn't want to spoil it for the listeners. but overall I felt extremely happy how things paned out for all involved we lost some and other survived and by the end of the book it left you feeling that the all was in its right place. but will there be another instalment I do hope so as im eager to dive back in with the characters along the way, but if not I do feel as though this tale has come to great ending well done Tony Urban

Excellent and entertaining zombie series!
I started this series with book two. I had not listened to book one, so it was a little hard for me to get into the story, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Once I got into the story I burned through listening to the rest of the series through book 5. I really loved the characters and scenarios they got involved with.

The End?
I have so dreaded the end of this series! Nonetheless it sneaked up on me unexpectedly, left me completely shocked and astounded, yet thoroughly satisfied. The narration was quite enjoyable and the story entertaining from start to finish. The only thing that would make it better is an encore!

Outstanding conclusion!
Great ending to a cleverly written zombie thriller series. Old enemies and friends cross paths and join and justice for a few are met. In the Red Runs the River, everything comes together perfectly.
Tony Urban wrote an exceptional story with a fast-paced thrilling plot and complex characters with layers and shades of grey to their personalities. I'm very happy that I had the chance to listen to this series. I've read and listened to many zombie apocalypse books by various authors. I've had both hits and misses. The Red Runs the River and the entire series was unquestionably a hit.
Crow did a superb job narrating this audiobook and portraying the characters' personalities. I'm very happy with his performance. Overall, Life of the Dead is a fantastic zombie series and I highly recommend it.

Good ending to the series
This was one good series. Different. The characters are so interesting throughout. This apocalyptic tale has a very likable good guy, Wim, who’s just trying to do the right thing. Gotta say, as a reader of this genre, this was a worthy buy.

I really enjoyed the whole series.
This was well written, engaging and kept me vested in the characters until the very end. It was very graphic and gory at times with the descriptions of some things that occurred. Don't listen to this while eating! Well done and I will look for other books by this author.

Boo— the other ones were better
The only redeeming factor in this book was literally the last 5 minutes. Just lazy and predictable writing. Want a kick ass zombie series? Get the sundown series by Courtney Konstantin. That series was excellent in so many ways!!
