This book is written so very well. The emotion is brilliant, I cried quite a bit throughout this book. It’s a beautiful story of healing. I now have a favourite narration duo! Erin and Jason are perfect together, and the singing! It’s fantastic. Well done guys, you totally rocked it.

Reckless Obsession by Samantha Christy is a Rockstar romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon.

This is the first book of Samantha’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely loved Crew and Bria’s love story. They took you on an emotional roller coaster but you couldn’t help but root for them. I cannot wait for the next book in the series Reckless Invitation to be released on August 27, 2020.

Jason and Erin did an amazing job on the narration. They both know how to bring a story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you love Rockstar Romances.

Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke are absolutely wonderful, conveying all the emotions of love, loss, confusion and hope, with their characteristic style and skill. This was an emotionally charged story of love and loss, and daring to try again after huge trauma!💔😢

The two main characters are Crew, whom we meet in his mid twenties, and his band, Reckless Alibi. We also see flashback chapters of him earlier when he meets his great love, Abby, at 17 years old!💘 The other main lead is Bria. She's a backup singer for one of the biggest bands on the planet. She's also been dating their lead singer for a couple of months.😍

Reckless Alibi is an opening act for Bria's boyfriends band on a couple of nights. She falls in love with their music. Then she gets offered the part of their co-lead singer!💥

I thought this was a really interesting and unusual take on a rockstar read. It had me tearing up a couple of times from the raw emotion! Crew acted like a bit of d0uch€ at times, and thought Bria should've stood her ground more often.🤷🏻‍♀️ 'Ronni' is vile.😠

I wasn't very fond of the cadence of female voice narrator, unfortunately. The male was very good. 👍
