The Crow Brothers

A great series with amazing narrators.
I was listening to the whole series already 2 or 3 times.

Each Crow Brother story is special and I love that all the guys get strong and amazing women at their sides.

I was loving this until....

Hmmmm, unfortunately I got to book 3, Rivers and I couldn't get through it. I have seen reviews saying that before and I couldn't ever understand what they were talking about.... Until now.

I honestly just can't hack the female narrator and her character. The narrator sounds like she's got a blocked nose or something. I'm not a nasty person so if she reads this, don't take it personally... Everyone has different opinions.

Plus the character is nuts! Is there really women in the world that go on like that?! I never pick everything apart around me like that so I just can't associate. I'm so confused. She's just odd.

Sorry but I've got to be honest and although I'm doing a terrible job of explaining my reasons.... I'm a bit flabbergasted....
ALSO...
Someone PLEASE tell the female narrator in the Rivers book that no one says "UGG" it's much more likely to be a frustrated, forced sigh... Like "UGH" so the G is silent.... She said it like ten times or something by the time I was incredibly sick of hearing it repeated.

I know that I sound mean and I honestly feel truly awful because I loved the first 2 books and how they worked the time line between them. I would definitely read the first 2 again but I can't hack book 3. Hmmmm..... Do I skip to book 4 or give up now because I'm irritated with losing a credit and not enjoying it all of the way through?!?! I just don't know!!!

Ps if you are reading the reviews to find out if the book has saucy encounters (I've spotted a few of you 🤔😘) yep there's some canny saucy bits in the first 2.

I have read several books from this author so I really hope that the narrator in Rivers doesn't turn people away that don't know how good their stories truly are.

a lot to say

fisrt of all the stories.. one more beutiful than the other. i loved these books more that the everest brothers, and i loved them a lot. i am a sucker for happy endings and she gave me 4.
about the performance, i loved all the male readers, in particular tulsa rivers and ridge. they sounded and felt like real rockstars. jet was a bit too mature for the part in my opinion, but he is a great reader. the female readers were also all great, but i must say i didn't enjoy the one reading Nicki in Tulsa as her voice was not the one i pucture for a young rockstar.. again too mature. the last female reader in Ridge sometimes sounded almost robotic. said that, i had a great great time and i would definitely read them again.

Amazing stories but they need a trigger warning

I loved these stories. The narration is a little tricky at times. After listening to Jet and Hannah and then hearing how the next guy did Jet voice It was a real jarring experience.
My main worry is there really needs to be a warning for readers especially with Rivers story especially. This story made me quite anxious but I couldn’t stop reading as I needed to check they all got a HEA. Having never experienced any violence I found myself clenching and distressed to hear the sexual violence she experienced.
