If you are looking for a book to give you every emotion, Samantha Christy has written it. After getting over Nate, her high school crush, Brooklyn has opened a bakery and found the man of her dreams. I loved the high school drama, the happiness and security with Michael. But the heat and chemistry that exists with Nate is something every woman can relate to. That tug of first love is hard to forget and Christy captures it completely. Nate and Brooklyn are every person's history, something in each that we relate to with each of their feelings. It's a book that will wring you out and build you back up finding your faith in true love.

Narrated by the talented Erin Mallon, I love how she draws you in and you become the character right along with her. Her ease with dialogue makes it feel comfortable, just like you are there listening to the conversations and as always, her voices are amazing.

The perfect romance read!

New author to me, clicked ”follow “ and now off to read another of her books!
It had everything I look for; depth of characters, angst, steam and of course a hard won HEA. Really wonderful book, highly recommend!

A great listen.

Once again Erin Mallon doing justice to Samantha’s work.

Another wonderful book by Samantha, easy to get lost in the story. Enjoyed this as much as her other books.

Ok

Out of all of Samantha Christy’s books I’ve listened to this is the one I liked the least. The characters were irritating, the story dragged on, it was repetitive and was ONLY about sex, which quite frankly gets boring after the first hundred orgasms! Overall it was just a disappointment.

Wow!!!!

My first ever Samantha Christy book and CERTAINLY NOT MY LAST! Wow, I have no words. I began listening last night and have pretty much spent the entire day listening to and finishing this book. I loved every single chapter, each word. The characters were so perfectly introduced and described that it was easy to feel the emotion. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried... it’s been a rollercoaster that’s for sure haha! Downloading my second SC book as we speak! 10/10

Nate, Brooklyn and doctor Micheal - OMG
I cried so much - there isn’t a love triangle, but a story of two childhood sweethearts reunited years later, but can they make it work years later? Love the characters, story kept me wanting more - must read

I really enjoyed this story, but i did feel slightly emotionally drained after it had finished!

Brooklyn and Nate have always had a thing, from High School where they hooked up that one time and gave each other their V card, to the time they met again 8 years later at a convention.

You see, even though Brooklyn is engaged to someone else, she had always remembered Nate, always wondered about him, always wondered "What If"

And suddenly, as if it was meant to be, here is is!

The thing is, he is now a slightly over jealous, anxiety ridden chap, don't get me wrong, they are super cute together, but his jealous rages and stalking tendencies seemed to me a little scary, and the relationship seemed to be slightly toxic, i would personally tell Brooklyn to stay clear, but maybe that is me seeing things that are not really there.

🎧🎧 Narration by the always amazing Erin Mallon made this book very enjoyable, it is a new author to me, and i will certainly be looking for others that she has written

I couldn't stop listening to this one it was the perfect story. Brooklyn has been in love with Nate for years after one night together he vanished not to bee seen till years later but Brooklyn has moved on and is about to get married until a tragedy befalls Brooklyn she is once again alone. Brooklyn and Nate have to work together and in doing so old feelings start to surface but can they work things out and have a HEA. This book has so much feeling it had me in tears a few times . The fact that it had Erin Mallon narrating just made it even better she is just amazing I could listen to her all day. I will definitely be telling my girlfriends about this one. A must listen you will love it.
