Summary

💙☔💙 love always wins especially in the rain
"Rainstorm took it away"
The performances of Isla Blackthorn & Gregory Salinas is fantastic. You can feel both characters emotions and how suck they are. I cried when...no spoilers cause its a big scene that will spoil the story. So yes this story made me cry and I got frustrated too. I wanted to grab both their head and smash them together ☔😆 This is when you know the narrators have done a great job on performaning Susan story and bring it to life
Chase & Rose's relationship is a true love story we see it in the past & present. BUT all of a sudden Chase wants a divorce and we learn why towards the end...no spoilers on the why.
I love her friend / neighbour Ariel. I hope she gets a story cause she a very mysterious character. If it weren't for this little angel these idiots wouldn't be together. She gave them a push they needed.
I promise this to you. There is a very happy ending but I won't spoil how they get there💙☔💙
☆MUST READ & LISTEN☆
This is realife love story and love always wins in the end.
I did not have the physical book I only have the audiobook. I like to have both the book and audio. So this was a first for me just the audio and it was wonderful experience

emotional roller coaster
There are few words. This book was so emotional for me. The back and forth was captured so well by the author. This is not a heart and roses story. The story is very well written and the characters and their dialogue just grab your attention. The narration was amazing. Isla Blackthorne and Gregory Salinas did such an amazing job bringing this story to life. I love the cover so much!

The storm was brewing!
If you love feeling every emotion during a book, Susana Mohel's Rainstorm is for you. I was pulled in from the beginning as we got to know this couple. Roselynn and Chase are the happy couple. Until one day, Roselynn is taken by surprise and given divorce papers. Her whole life, she never expected it, but now she has taken charge of her life, only to be "chased" again. Will she give up her new independence for a second chance? I love the way this story is written. In dual points of view, flipping from past to present so we get a good understanding of the couple. Their back story is so important, and gives such a good understanding of their foundation. While I spent most of the time trying to figure things out, I was intrigued by the change in Roselynn. She is a force, and I love a story with a strong woman! It definitely has a lot of angst and emotions in this one, and it pulls on your heart. Be ready to enjoy this one!
The narration of this book was amazing. Chase needed a strong, passionate man to play his role and Gregory Salinas is perfectly cast. He plays him so well, the indifference, the confusion and the love all come through. Isla Blackthorne is new to me, and she comes out strong as Roselynn. Full of all the emotions, we get a feeling of love, despair, forgiveness and compassion all in her voice. This was a team well cast and very enjoyable.

Heartbreaking at times
This book was a little frustrating at times. It’s been written very well so it wasn’t as bad as what it could of been. As a married woman I would be very hurt and angry if my husband had treated me the way this husband does. With this aside it is a heartfelt book. Excellent performance.

Rainstorm
This book started out really interesting right from the beginning. Then it kind of dragged on and lost my interest a bit although I kept trying to figure out why Chase wanted a divorce. In the end, the reason kind of ruined the story for me. The book went back and forth from past to present with a dual POV. While I didn't love this story, if you like second-chance romance with likable characters and a fair amount of angst, then you might want to give this one a chance. Isla Blackthorne and Gregory Salinas both did a great job bringing this story to life.

heartwrenching
Chase has a secret that would devastate Rose. It would be better to let her go instead of telling her the truth. She's the love of his life. The only way to keep from hurting her, is to leave.
Rose, He is her life, her everything, after 6 years of marriage, what changed? Why did he want her to go? Their love was electric, everlasting and forever, but something inside Chase changed.
Narrated by Isla Blackthorne and Gregory Salinas. They portrayed the characters with love and emotion. I enjoyed listening to this story.

For Better or Worse
I absolutely loved the narration of this book. i received this book for an honest review from @AudiobookObsession. I believe yhe sole basis of a good audiobook is the narrators and this duel team nailed it. I enjoyed this short story as well. It gives you duel point of views and gives you perspective on testing a marriage in a way the reader doesn't expect until a big hint is given towards the end of the book.

Excellent read
I’ve been looking for a good story and strong heroine. This one had it. I’ve read the review even synopsis stated that the heroine was smart and strong. However, after listening, I’m usually disappointed. Not this story! This one had all the feels. I loved the h. I really felt the connection and felt the emotions. I loved that she stood her ground at the end. Excellent performance and highly recommend!

A Stormy love story
This had all the feels. I could really feel the emotions and heartbreak of the H/h in this one. Hindsight in 20/20 to us all and we all wish we had done some things different and this story is allll about that. I loved how things turned out. The love between these two were immense! Isla and Gregory do an amazing job!

Heartache with a twist
This audio was angsty & had ALL the feels. I was all sorts of emotional. If you like that in a romance, this book would be right up your alley. I struggled connecting with the main characters in the beginning, but the second half of the book really helped me end up enjoying this story a lot more. The narrators we're great, they were both easy to listen to & portrayed the emotions the author was trying to get you to feel. If you're a fan of a second chance romance, definitely give this book a shot!

Stormy Skies in Store
I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of Pink Flamingo Production Review Team. This story will keep you on pins and needles. I couldn't tell who to root for. Do I root for Roselynn, the one who got dumped, or Chase, the one doing the dumping. You know there has to be a reason, but it isn't until the end when his reason is revealed. The author kept the listener mesmerized until the end of the story. Great Listen. The narrators were awesome. They did the characters and their personalities really well. They brought the story to life.

Emotional!
This was my first Susana Mohel's book. This is the first book in The Perfect Storm. This story is original, emotional, intriguing, and captivating. The characters are wonderful. The storyline is heartbreaking, and heartwarming afterward, and filled with twists and turns. Isla Blackthorne and Gregory Salinas did a great job with the narration. If you like emotional romance filled with angst, this one is for you. #AudiobookObsession

A lesson in communication
This is a story about Chase and Rose's relationship and how everything can change in a second. Also I believe an overall theme of this story is communication. Neither Rose or Chase really communicate the best in this book until the end. We lean how Chase and Rose met, fell in love, separated and eventually found their way back to each other. There is no "bad guy" in this story line. Both characters made ridiculous mistakes but eventually overcame them. This is an emotional story and not much plot to it. I'm not sure what part 2 is because I feel like everything was resolved in this book. The narrators did a very good job of bringing the characters to life, this is especially important as this was an emotional plot vs. physical plot type book. #Audio Obsession Review

Second Chance Romance
Rainstorm by Susana Mohel is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Isla Blackthorne and Gregory Salinas.
I originally read this book when it was first released and absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed getting the chance to hear it on audible as it really brings the story to life. The story took me on an emotional roller coaster. I loved that you get Chase and Roselynn points of views throughout the book.
This was the first book of Susana’s that I have read and definitely hasn’t been my last. I really enjoy The Perfect Storm series and cannot wait for more of the series to be released on audible.
Isla and Gregory did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this book if you love second chance romances or romance books in general.

Heartbreaking beautiful
I absolutely adored this audiobook. As a married woman I was so touched by this story. The narrators did a superb job bringing the story to life. The journey through lust, love, heartbreak, acceptance and forgiveness hit me hard. I felt like I was part of the story caught up in the storm of heartache but the rainbow at the end of that storm shone bright.
