Meet Spike, aka Radio Boy: a new Adrian Mole on the radio for the Internet generation.
Spike's your average awkward 11-year-old, funny and cheeky and with a mum to reckon with. When he becomes the first presenter ever to be sacked from hospital radio, he decides to carry on from a makeshift studio in the garden shed, with the help of his best friends, Artie and Holly, disguising his voice and going by the moniker Radio Boy.
Week by week word gets around, and soon Spike is a star...if only people knew it was actually him. When Spike begins to believe his own hype and goes too far with his mocking of the school headmaster, a hunt is launched for the mysterious Radio Boy.
Can Spike remain anonymous? Will he get to marry the girl of his dreams, Katherine Hamilton? Will he become famous and popular? The answer to most of these questions is no....

Too funny 🤣 highly recommend
Thai is my 10th time reading it and i highly recommend it to anyone of any age it’s so funny and has inspired me to write a script for a real radio show. Fish-face has me rolling on the floor🤣 but we have to agree Sherlock was the hero 😂

Brilliant!!!
A great book by DJ Christian O'connall.
it's witty, full of humour and an overall great story. Christian's passion for working in radio is evident in this story and he reads the whole book really well on herel.

Brilliant
What made the experience of listening to Radio Boy the most enjoyable?
Love listening to this book was fantastically narrated by Christian made me laugh out loud lots of times really hoping for a second book

Really funny just ordered book number two.
My Granddaughter and I listen to audible and then discuss what we have listened to the next day. We both loved this book. My granddaughter has slight autism and listens to audible to help her get to sleep. If she hears a bad word or something upsetting she will not carry on listening to it. No problem with this book great story,funny and we both can’t wait to listen to book two.
