About this listen
Leon and his younger sister, Grace, have recently moved to London from New York and are struggling to settle into their new school when rumours of an unidentified virus in Africa begin to fill the news.
Within a week the virus hits London. The siblings witness people turning to liquid before their eyes, and they run for their lives.
A month after touching Earth's atmosphere, the virus has assimilated the world's biomass.
But the virus isn't their only enemy, and survival is just the first step....

Amazing!
I had to listen to it one day because I couldn't wait to get to the end. The story is creepy and makes you feel anxious ,just as a good book should.

Great Story, well told.
I enjoyed this story, definitely a combination of a viral outbreak thriller with hints of James Herbet/Stephen King horror. it reminded me of elements of the author's other novels Last Light and After Light, both favourites of mine.

Un-made or Re-made
I was a little disappointed with this book. It was more "Un-Made" rather than Re-Made. A type of virus falls in flakes all over the world. If a flake hit man, animal, bird, fish or insect they just melted away leaving nothing but bone, teeth and hair (un-made). The story is abut a group of survivors who all have something in common. The virus attempts to clone (re-made) what it has melted which doesn't last long before they change and melt again. The only part which really mention Re-Made was the the very end and this didn't make sense. I think it would be better with a new title which would give you a better idea of what the book is about as it stands it made me think it was something like Frankenstein's monster. It wasn't bad nor good just middle of the road. I only listened to it because I had nothing else to listen to.

Gripping.
Loved this audiobook; I found myself hooked on the storyline and almost obsessively listening when I really ought to have been doing otherwise. The only gripe I have is the narration; when the narrator changes his accent/ speech for the various characters I found some were quite grating.
The voice/accent exhibited for Freya makes her sound like a terrible combination of Vicky Pollard (Little Britain) and Tim Nice But Dim (Harry Enfield and chums).
As Freya is a central character I found it hard to take her seriously and her voice was almost comedic, which jarred with the storyline.
Leons accent moves around the various states of America, again, almost being a parody.
Yes, I am being picky, but the actual story was compelling.
