Summary

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: when adopted midwife Mariam embarks on a project to protect an abandoned premature baby, she is forced to face her own abandonment years before. Fantastic read

Absolutely fantastic book. Beautifully written and performed. Unlike anything I have read before. It had me totally gripped and I couldn't wait for my daily commute on the train to listen to more.
