Summary

Most strategy is, let’s face it, bullsh*t. A bunch of fancy words which mean nothing at all. At best, harmless and easy to ignore. At worst, confusing and destructive.

What if strategy could instead be clear, simple, bold, and even actually useful? That’s what No Bullsh*t Strategy is all about. It sweeps away all the garbled corporate nonsense and dry academic theorising to leave you with pure strategic sauce, which can be actioned right away. It’ll make you see your business in a totally new light, and effortlessly unlock insights you didn’t know you had in you. Even better, it makes strategy fun.

Ideal for the young entrepreneur and accessible to anyone, if you're wanting to demystify strategy and apply it instantly, No Bullsh*t Strategy is the book for you.

Very actionable stuff to make a strategy clear

Very concise and actionable models to apply to strategy creation. It’s a field I’ve always found hard to pin down mentally, and now I’ve pinned it, I can create it. Thanks

Simplifies and demystifies while challenging you!

Just ran through the book and I have to say I absolutely loved it. I'm a B2B SaaS marketer and there is so much we can take from it and apply. Thanks for keeping it great and not fluffing it out like most business books do. Real, tangible ideas that can be implemented in a simple way - superb!

To the point, no bullshit, strategy advice. Very helpful for anyone scared of fluffy and fancy looking strategy decks

best book I've read on strategy

Simple, concise (3hrs!), and really well explained with good examples. Can feel the advice in the book making a massive difference already. Thank you, Alex!

Packed full of insight

Exactly what it says on the tin.
No Bullsh*t.
The book is a great length and unlike many other marketing books points aren't laboured over and over again.
A point gets made, an example provided, and you move on.
I can see myself listening to this one again and again.

Truly excellent

I’ve listened to this book twice, back to back. I have 3 other books that I’ve put down and sidelined just to get the gems in here. I’ve made copious amount of notes in my Notion and have ended up with a solid strategy of my own for my startup.

As a strategist also having worked in ad agencies full of guff language, I wish someone had put it like Alex does years ago. Simple, powerful and mercifully short - which is what books should be.

Highly recommended.
