About this listen
Megan: I wasn't supposed to end up in an outlaw biker's bed. I wasn't supposed to love it. I definitely wasn't supposed to crave his fiery kisses, beg for his touch, or ache to know the man behind the evil-looking ink and scarred smirk.
I was the good girl. He was the monster. Then everything changed. I became a prisoner. I prayed for Skin to save me. He did - and he kept me for himself.
Skin: I went psycho when I saw her in that dirty whorehouse. She's everything I never wanted, a spitfire with a body meant for claiming.
Then she told me her secret, and I almost needed a straitjacket. I saved her life instead. I gave her a second chance.
I know she's a marked woman, caught between my club and the bastards I killed. Damn if I won't make her wear my name, even if she's trouble on two long legs I can't stop picturing wrapped around me. I'll brand her, bed her, own her, no matter how much hell I'll pay.
Contains mature themes.

Wow! A brilliant book
I loved this book narrated by my favourites Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell - the story was brought to life by the Fab writing and narration. The book was pure escapism. Looking forward to reading the next book.

Was good, enjoyable book.
I would have bought the next ones, but I noticed the narrators were changed in book 3 and didn't like the sound of the female's voice. It sounded too gravely. Don't see the point in getting book 2 as I won't be getting the next ones due to disliking the narrator.

Gave up half way through..
This book is not very good aside from great narration which is the only saving grace aside from the hard but oh so soft character of the MMC.
The story feels way too glorifying of the theme and isn’t even that well written. Imagine: girl gets trafficked and used in horrible ways and then “saved” by a biker from an MC who she then two days later wants to give everything men have been taking from her against her will for half a year???? 🤯🤯I mean, sure it could probably happen once in a blue moon, but it feels like it glances over the trauma and the absolute horror I imagine a life like hers entails which makes the story just a bit degrading. I mean do you trust someone that easily and enjoy your sexuality that quickly after something like that?? Sure the guy is a nice bad boy and it’s fiction but this is way harsh to stomach for me personally. Also… he saves her to use her and even though he has a somewhat understandable reason for doing so (depending on what you think about the whole “do it cos he needs the finders fee”-thing) it still toes the line of not really being morally acceptable or very heroic even though the author frames it that way.
If this is your thing have a listen, it’s not the worst writing, although it’s far from the best. But if you want more realistic stories where important parts of a plausible plot development and character arcs aren’t passed over to make room for more smut (which isn’t a negative thing in itself) there are better stories out there.
