Summary
This text concisely puts forward the case for a form of nihilism - fusing thoughts from Hume, Schopenhauer, and Nietzsche, amongst others. It forcefully argues that morality as we know it is a power structure disguised as knowledge; that law is based upon this false idol; and that thus power is, in fact, the basis of all life.
This text inspired the recreation of the Marvel philosopher superhero Karnak.

Peter Sjöstedt-H is an Anglo-Scandinavian philosopher with specialization in the thought of Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Bergson, and Whitehead, and within the Philosophy of Mind. Following his studies in philosophy at Warwick University, Peter became a philosophy lecturer in London for six years. He is currently engaged in his PhD at Exeter University where he also teaches philosophy modules and writing skills. Peter is the author of the paperback Noumenautics, and an inspiration behind the new inhuman philosopher Marvel Superhero, Karnak.

In this moment he is euphoric...
Get a load of this scholar. If this bloke isn’t a fedora-tipping reddit atheist I’ll go out, buy a large hat, and eat it for Sunday lunch.
Watch out ladies and gentlemen – our plucky Zarathustra has read some Nietzsche, he’s discovered fallacies, he knows that God is dead! Tremble you feeble-minded sheeple! Morality doesn’t exist and having discovered this, now he thinks he’s the master of the universe looking down on the rest of humanity. Yeah, we were all that age at one time…
He’s not necessarily wrong in his arguments, just pitifully tedious in the laborious self-importance with which he conveys everything – both in writing and delivery. Completely unjustified given that nothing he’s saying is remotely novel or unknown. Coupled with the pseudo inbred aristocrat voice going on, you’ll be rolling your eyes hard enough to make yourself sea-sick.
We await the day that this peerless philosopher gains some self-awareness.
