Summary
"Riveting suspense, truly surprising revelations, and silky smooth writing make this one unmissable!" (Joshilyn Jackson, New York Times best-selling author of Mother May I)
Best-selling author of Dear Wife and The Marriage Lie, Kimberly Belle returns with her most heart-pounding thriller to date, as a masked home invader reveals the cracks in a marriage.
Everyone is about to know what her husband isn’t telling her....
Jade and Cam Lasky are by all accounts a happily married couple with two adorable kids, a spacious home, and a rapidly growing restaurant business. But their world is tipped upside down when Jade is confronted by a masked home invader. As Cam scrambles to gather the ransom money, Jade starts to wonder if they’re as financially secure as their lifestyle suggests and what other secrets her husband is keeping from her.
Cam may be a good father, a celebrity chef, and a darling husband, but there’s another side he’s kept hidden from Jade that has put their family in danger. Unbeknownst to Cam and Jade, the home invader has been watching them and is about to turn their family secrets into a public scandal.
With riveting twists and a breakneck pace, My Darling Husband is an utterly compelling thriller that once again showcases Kimberly Belle's exceptional talent for domestic suspense.

Sorry Iwasted a credit on this. Story is boring and so much repetition and over description.....characters were irritating...narrator's child's voices were loud and unbearably grating.....load of tripe

You are about to witness a heart-pounding thriller about a masked home invader who reveals the cracks in a deeply devoted marriage.

Heart-pounding and intense Kimberly Belle weaves us through a story of secrets, lies, deist and just plain cruelty. A true nail-biter of a story, with a brilliant cast of characters! As the intensity keeps building it just gets better and better! You won't know who to root for or what is going on until the final reveal in the end.
Highly recommend this suspenseful thriller and I found myself a new author to read more.

Exciting but...
So I enjoyed this book. It was pretty exciting. However I personally felt there was several things that were left unsolved.

Needs something… or many things
So much potential, but so flat 😑 . There was really only one big “aha” moment, and the entire book takes place one night in one home, which really doesn’t work for my short attention span. There is very little character development, build-up or mystery. I wish this would have just been more because I am really craving something delicious.

Read this if you like loose ends
I liked this story, and it definitely held my attention until the end. It was interesting to have an entire novel unfold over the span of a few hours, and the flash-forward scenes helped a lot with pacing. However, some of the surprising revelations were so far-fetched, and lots of loose ends were left at the end. Perhaps the author meant to "leave us hanging" to create suspense, but I just felt unsatisfied.

Good listen
I am a huge Kimberley Belle fan yet this one was ok for me. It was interesting with the different characters in each chapter. A minor twist or two. Made a good statement on a medical/social issue we face. I listened in Audible and narrators did a great job of narrating each character. I would definitely recommend it. I’ve just gotten spoiled on her earlier books and am probably expecting more than some. Love her books!

Mediocre.
There was social value in this plot. However, in an attempt to avoid a Spolier Alert, it had almost the same plot as a famous movie. And was not done as well.
