Summary
Charlie's known around this mountain town for his hookups and one-night stands, but local bakery owner Maggie wishes she had the recipe to keep this man cake all to herself.
Maggie knows it's time to tell her brother's best friend that she wants to lick his bowl of batter clean. And even though she's kept her cupcake all this time, she's ready to share her frosting. For one hot night, Charlie takes a bite and finds out Maggie's the sweetest thing he's ever tasted.
But things aren't always so perfectly baked - and when Maggie finds out there's a bun in her oven, she realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew.
Dear listener, this is the perfect slice of insta-love. It's adorable, over-the top, and everything you want in a piece of man cake. Charlie's got a warm-from-the-oven body that will make your chocolate chips melt. Ooey, gooey goodness, guaranteed!
XO, Frankie

Cute
It’s a cute and short story. Good for killing time while you do chores, but otherwise forgettable. I enjoyed it but yeah, I doubt I will remember it in a month or so.

Quick & Spicy
My first Frankie Love story, and it is quick and spicy! A taboo, brother's best friend romance, Charlie is interested in Maggie, and she finally makes her move on him. What he doesn't realize is how she will stay in his heart. Now is the time for him to make his claim only to find out there is more to his future! Will these two make the cut? Give it a listen. Lacy Laurel brings it all to life with a fantastic narration.

Man cake Charlie and Maggie
This was a nice insta-love romance where the couple knew each other since children. All it took was one taste of Maggie and Charlie knew she was the only one for him going forward. I really enjoy Frankie Love’s writing style. Lacy Laurel did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Any additional comments?
Ugh okay its my own fault I should of read the reviews, but it's only 2 hours I thought how bad can it be, I should of listened to the preview of the audio before I bought it ugh I didn't, I have read plenty of Frankie Love's books and enjoyed all of them so I thought its only two hours and not a lot of money, it was awful the story was fine but the audio voice was aaawwwfffuuulll the male voice she did was laughable the story was on steroids and felt like it was sped up to 50 and I tried slowing the audio down like one reviewer said which just made it worse. A book that I should of finished in an afternoon took me two days, sorry Lacy Laurel I hope you were having a bad day when you recorded this.

Cute quickie instalove...
This was a short story to listen to and was a nice way to pass time. The instalove/friends to lovers story in this audiobook was rather predictable and I didn’t find anything really new or outstanding about it. It was kind of like ear candy, lol. Narration would have been better with a male voice.

Horrid narration, what a dumb waste
Super annoying reader, had to change the speed to slower it was so fast it was nearly childish. Arghh. A hunky tatted physique on the cover does not redeem this piece of junk.

Short and sweet
Yes pun intended. Having grown up together although a few years apart Mags always knew who was the man for her but he’s her brothers best friend.
The story is short and sweet easy to follow and easy to listen too.
Lacey laurel did a good job on the narration.

Man Cake!
This was a quick sweet and sexy listen. Lacy Laurel did a great job. I have just recently discovered Frankie Love and this one was really good. You can;t really say its an insta since they have known each other for years but when they get together its at 100mph. I will be going back to read the one prior and after now.

short but adorable
Maggie and Charlie have such a cute love story. As they come together eyes get open wide and hearts start to burst with love and warmth. It is quite possible that these two might just steal your heart.

Short, sweet, and sexy!
I like that these are fast paced and easy to get through, though I wish there was a little more development to the relationship. They go from kind of friends to getting married so fast! The story was cute and Maggie and Charlie make a good couple. I liked seeing him realize he loved Maggie and the fact that he was willing to do whatever it took to get her. The narrator wasn't bad, I just enjoy it more when there's a man to do the guy's point of view.
